I'm Chinese, so I gotta break them copyrights! It's in my blood! Pirating software is great. I learned many many computer skills through the process of acquiring software, installing it, and then cracking it, and then dealing with viruses. If I wasn't such a pirate when I was younger, I wouldn't have the skills I have

Looks like Nintendo is out to double your expectations, this year. They've already released Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and Mario Kart 8. In the fall and winter, there's going to be Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Captain Toad, and Super Smash Bros.

MK8 @ release was complete and polished. There's only been the one update to 2.0, and that was to add stuff, like allow for the DLCs and minor UI updates. This is the opposite end of the spectrum to the likes of EA, where you're guaranteed a day-one patch, and server issues to match.

GOG gives you the game in its DRM-free download form, and bonus content.

When Mario Kart 8 starts (title screen), it'll tell you to press A to start. Make sure you press A on a controller, first.

I haven't played Sonic Racing, but another awesome aspect of MK8 is the memorable soundtrack. Dolphin Shoals is one of my favorite tracks because of it's sound track that reminds me of SNL :)

I've just started playing a game called Landmark. It's a sandbox game like Minecraft, but it is high res, and allows for some really cool stuff to be built. This game, Yogventures, is complete garbage.

It obstructs view of hazards on the course. This is the first MK that getting squidded is detrimental to my driving. The AI likes to leave peels in groups.

These guys suck. They can't even hack their way out of a wet paper bag.

I'd also download the entire DRM-Free portion of your Humble Bundle, or GOG title. Even if Steam dies, you'll still have unrestricted access to all the offline stuff.

I think one of the sore points of the prize that it's not just $25,000. It's a $25,000 voucher towards a vehicle! All the stealership had to do was throw in a few hundred bucks for insurance. Basically, they are out nothing.

Yay! Another shoddy release by EA. Is there a Bingo game for this, yet? Day 1 patch, plus several more in the first week. Despite offline capability, there'll be DRM-related issues. Don't forget the game-breaking bugs, and discovery that complex systems have been simplified and broken.

I don't know what to tell you. When I saw that 1-UP in the clip, it blew my mind.

I have played SMB so many times. I had the NES Action set! However, until today, I did not know about that 1-up before the pit!

Quarantine (circa 1994). You were a cab driver in a futuristic walled (prison) city. The feature my friends got obsessed with was the F10 key. Pressing it makes your character say, "Up Yours!"
