I can't speak for the Accord they have in the States, but the European Accord (the equivalent of the Acura TSX but without the fugly nose) is a nice car to drive. Is the American version really that boring as people say it is?

On the Porsche website, they have a 'web special' in which they show the car going around a city. At the same time, they've removed the aircon unit and the radio unit; and put in a stiffer suspension— weight savings that imply that this is a track car. Identity crisis, or am I missing something here?

@BrtStlnd: I was going to ask that too. If you could, wouldn't you get constantly pestered by cops pulling you over?

@D_Robb: It also has something to do with the fact that the RMV doesn't license manual and automatic drivers separately. The majority of people I know in the UK and other parts of Europe (where people who have learnt automatic have a different license) learnt manual just because it gave them more choice as to what car

@Kerensky97: The examples that you're using all have a privately run company refusing to serve the consumer because they haven't paid. The fire department is not a corporation—it has a duty to provide services to the public. They should have simply put out the fire, and then charged the homeowners an ungodly sum for

Beautiful car. Nice price

Besides the new Z4, this car is probably the most attractive car BMW has made in the last 6 years. Don't understand why it's called the Coupe and why it's not being produced- this should have been the 5 series.

On first glance, I read that as, "Would you consider rallying in a small pickup ?" I thought Murilee had lost his mind...

Ford's definitely come a long way, but at the end of the day it's about how you feel in the car. It should make you feel special, and if price wasn't an option and having driven both cars recently, I can say that the M3 brings a massive grin to my face, whereas the Mustang only brings a tight smile. That is not to say

I'm glad they know how to work on the cars, as well as drive them. More than what could be said about most Porsche drivers.

Consumer reports needs to die.

So he drove it for two years without a problem and this 'sudden acceleration' happened recently, apparently coinciding with recalls?

If I spent a lot of time and effort on this car (as this guy probably has), I wouldn't sell it. Instead, I would cherish it and use it everyday. And 25k is a little too much—it hasn't entered the AC Cobra kit car territory in terms of legacy just yet.

@Fat Tire: 2012- you heard it here first.

Bullshit

Is it me, or could I buy a really nice used [insert car of choice here] with good mileage for that price?

That dashboard cam really shows how planted the F430 is—it looks like it's stuck to the road. Not something I could say about my friend's Camry that I had to drive the other day.
