@FormerlyPreferredCustomer: well put. Thanks to you, my next garage will now have one 911, one M3, and possibly one DB9...[hey, in dreams affordability is a non-issue right?]

We get the Mustang GT, they get the RS—it's only fair...isn't it?

That rear pillar looks a bit odd- I just wish they would extend the glass a little further back.

Engine will probably need an entire rebuild after nearly 200000 miles. 11k is too much for too little.

While I disagree with Volvo's decision, can't say I blame them-in a way it's the American consumer that's forcing them to halt their lineup of wagons. Just look at Europe, where a large chunk of sales revenue comes from the wagons-not so much in the States.

...and I still think the proportions are a little off. That back end needs to be longer!

oops...

@someoneelse2010: yep I know. My explanation probably wasn't clear. Just saying that the stock Clio is hardly a crappy car when you look at the iterations it has spawned (Cup, 182, the lairy V6-yes a V6- in a car smaller than a Golf)

I'll have you know that the Renault Sport Clio was one of the best hot hatches in Europe (hell, the new model still is). Except for the stripe and maybe the over tinted glass, this car doesn't look too bad...even the wheels don't look particularly chavvy to me (maybe my years in the UK were too much?).

No way that LS1 went in without any compromise. I also highly doubt that there was only a 50lb increase in weight. 40k is far, far, far too much,

This brand is getting waaay over saturated. Stick to the 3, 5, 6, 7, Z and M series please, BMW. We don't need the 1, X3, X5, and X6...

Who are the Scottish equivalent of Martin Lawrence and Will Smith again?

They really ought to teach these things in driving schools- I remember my entire driving test was made up of parallel parking, a three point turn, and a 50 ft reverse. I had to pretty much self learn basic car mechanisms, and read through my car's manual (which I find pretty interesting anyways). What's shocking is

@Muscles Marinara: ah-didn't realize that. Just checked and the equivalent is indeed $30k. Thanks for clearing that up.

here's one problem I have with Honda Co. in the United States: the Acura line up. Having lived in the UK, and seen the Accord there, and then coming to the States and seeing the rebadged Accords here, all I can say is that I'm incredibly disappointed with Honda's showing.

@G-Ram: Reminds me of the before and after pics they showed us during drug ed. in high school.

@pauljones: I agree. The so-called 'problems' people are having with their fixed cars are probably psychological.
