@justsomereportingguy: Basically, just a station wagon, except with 2 doors. The BMW Z3 Coupe would be considered one. Fun fact: back in the 19th C, when people were driving horse drawn carriages, the shooting break was considered to be a large wagon that could carry hunters, their weapons and dogs all on benches

@FightingChance: Do this in Arnold's voice and it sounds even funnier.

@KamikazeChikn: My college police recently replaced their Crown Vics with current model Dodge Chargers; they also have a 02 VW GTI as an 'undercover vehicle'. I think several State Police units have Chargers as well (atleast in Mass.)—sure they're nowhere near as fancy as the Lamborghinis, and Porsches, but they look

@spuy767: What's wrong with having a vanity plate named after your favorite band? Maybe the guy who had a parking spot next to him at work had DAFTMAN on his plate (unlikely, but roll with this), and the BMW driver was making fun of him.

@maximum_sarge: well...I don't think drinking and swimming go hand in hand (hell, neither does driving...with either of those two)—just saying ;)

Unrelated perhaps, but could a car like the Veyron be considered an asset? i.e. is it rare enough for it to appreciate in price over the period of a few years? If it is, then he'd be better off keeping the Veyron, buying the ZR1, and then selling the Veyron after a few years for a net gain...or not...

@57sweptside: In their defense, probably just some day to day stuff people read there. Politics in Pakistan especially tend to be volatile (look at Bhutto v Musharraf), and so I guess the books just give people an insight into what's going on in their country.

@Turboner: hmm-thanks for that. I probably need to shop around some more. It was actually my mistake as well- I didn't realize Audi wasn't selling the current model RS4 at all (hell-it doesn't exist thanks to the RS5). I do wish they bring the 4door RS5 here though.

@docb: I was actually in the market for a RS4- do they sell them here in the US? All I can see on the Audi website is the S-Line versions

I like the sliding doors and the styling. I don't like the hybrid and the 'safety features'. The only safety features I want in my car are traction control, airbags, and brakes. God I wish some day one visionary CEO and his board decide to scrap all the electronic nannying and go back to roots.

All said and done though, the Gypsy is an incredibly tough 4x4. These were introduced back in the mid 80s to law enforcement and the military, and they are still very much in use today by the police.

The Elise embodies everything, in my mind, of what a roadster should be—phenomenal handling and a massive sense of speed all in a neat package.

@Master P wonders when he can pre-order an FT-86: erm- no it's not rude at all. The answer she got was well deserved, and kind of witty, especially in light of her (or her editor) pretty much insulting the guy's entire career. The question would have been appropriate if it was directed to the Chair or Director of the

Can you say Gulf livery with red/orange wheels?

@fuzzycuffs: We have those in Hong Kong (albeit unpimp'd) as well. Makes me wonder why they don't put these in the US. It would improve Honda's image here a hell of a lot.

@Black-Dog-Howls: They already have them. But, the kiosks are restricted to Cathay Pacific business class passengers (which I am thanks to the miles I rack up on my HK-BOS leg). They have a large number of PS2s, and I think they'll probably add the PS3s at a later date.

I have counted the word 'douchebag' four times in this post. Really now? I honestly don't understand the douchebag stigma surrounding BMW owners. By most people's reasoning, the same would apply to all premium brand owners including Audi, Mercedes, and the numerous exotic car brand owners out there. They 'all' drive

@Maymar: That's the only thing I don't understand about the M3, as much as I love it. It costs 16k more than the similarly equipped w similar performance 335i. All you're really paying for is the badge, and some tuning.
