Lets illustrate how much traction these tires have by.... losing... traction... repeatedly?

My typical thought is "I will make it," coming into every turn, and "I will make it better," leaving every turn.
The depression behind a car at speed, in terms of its affect on air density, is pretty negligible. I doubt that truck operates anywhere near compressible flow, in the same way ram air is inconsequential at any speed normal cars attain.
No FOD screen on the turbo?
I'm always surprised to see how many people see a non-vote as any less of a statement than a vote. Given that the power of voting lies inasmuch in the right to specifically not select one candidate as it does to favor another, so long as one is mindful of their civic duty and feels it is fulfilled by whatever action…
I cant even figure out how to make a new post. I'm on Android though.
Thats good! Then we both agree there's no causal link between attention to detail and understanding marketing strategy.
The only time I don't like left foot braking on the road is when the yazbo in front of me in traffic keeps touching it with his left foot while he's accelerating and his brake lights are on and off all the time. Kills my mojo because it brings my focus back to him instead of watching the traffic up ahead for…
Whatever semantics you want to put on it, long winded discussions of the difference in pressure/stress and force are not likely to attract casual attention. Talking about ridiculous amounts of bird crap on a car does.
Signal aliasing. 25FPS refresh of a TV camera is below the Nyquist rate (sampling rate must be 2x the max frequency of the signal) to get a good view of the actual PWM square wave refresh rate is much faster. When you're sampling at 1000 fps, you can resolve a signal oscillation up to 500 Hz.
If the Smart car is constrained in space, say between two cars, or against a wall. Otherwise, its light weight means the maximum pressure is the force of accelerating from the impact distributed over the impact area, given the momentum transfer of a relatively inelastic collision.
Unless they meant 9000lbs of bird craps pure H+ content.
Someone doesn't understand marketing.
Heart click for that.
If Smart gave you psi numbers for damaging their product, you'd have no idea how large a surface it was acting on.
Yes. It happens a lot online, even moreso on message boards.
Did you actually read the article?
I'm glad we all agree.
TIL principles of kinetic energy also apply to steel as well as flesh!
It's amazing how much damage even a slow impact can do to modern cars. If this had been a 1975 Lincoln, there'd be a stack of concrete rubble in the center and the owner would need a dab of spit and a hanky to fix it.
