Lengua is absolutely delicious (though i've only had it from two different Cuban restaurants) , and my favorite part of a turkey or chicken is the heart. Other organs I'm not keen on, the texture of liver especially turns my stomach.

Fannie's Last Supper is on Netflix, and worth a watch if only to appreciate the efforts put into recreating a 12 course Victorian meal. Fried breaded calfs brain balls in a mock turtle soup, gelatin from boiled calves feet used for desert jelly, etc. Some background here. http://www.npr.org/template…
AGH. I'm gay and I 100% disavow this discarded walking glitter covered Popsicle stick. It would be great if he wasn't given any kind of attention at all, even in articles like this.
Most 7-11 (well most convenience stores really) frozen treat coolers have had these for years here in Oregon, right along side the rocket pops, ice cream bars, ice cream sandwiches etc. Usually just coconut, sometimes pineapple, mango or strawberry.
The Kindle ed of What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions is free for Prime members. So far it's making for a good rainy Sunday read.
acai is a fruit, and an acai bowl is basically an acai smoothie in a bowl with some solids like nuts and maybe some frozen fruit and granola tossed in.
I've never had a battered fish taco, only either grilled chopped fish, or breaded. Breaded fish tacos are terrible. A couple of corn tortillas stuffed with shredded cabbage, grilled white fish, topped with diced onion, crema, and a squeeze of lime is how I make them at home.
thank you. I was looking for this very comment. It didn't see weird at the time, but looking back i'm a bit scandalized at the idea of a whole 2 litre bottle of wine cooler lol
I don't remember Zima having that weird faint beery aftertaste like Truly does though. (my sister bought a few bottles of Truly and didn't like it so I tried one. I wasn't the worst thing i've ever drank)
big dorky internet emoticon hearts for you <3 (my son is on the spectrum and I suspect a few other family members are too)
It's a meal. Why is that even a question?
perfectly acceptable taste
I filled this out with a completely made up email address and it went through. I used a zipcode from a city I used to live in that is like 90% rich asshole republicans as a nice touch. Most of my answers were trite and/or calling out the blatant bias via the "other" box which was surprisingly satisfying in a stress…
the amazon reviews. there is a review that gives an example of what the captions are, and what was actually being said. basically the captions are really poorly translated and paraphrased.
You're right, it probably won't do much. The damage from online shopping has been done. hard to reverse that. Sounds like that mall has been in decline for quite some time too. There's an urban explorer channel on youtube that covers dead and dying malls, and so many have been renovated to no avail. The bright…
Affogato is delicious, but a sbux version sounds not at all appealing. The best ever is at this little teeny shop, Spella Caffe, in Portland.
Oregon only sells hard liquor through state controlled liquor stores. Beer, wine, and mixers are sold in grocery stores and convenience stores, and kegs are only sold through distributors directly. It's kind of a pain in the ass when you're trying to stock up for a party, making two separate stops for everything.
The…
I used to drink Elysian, but no more now that it's AB owned. Same with 10 Barrel and a bunch of others. Maybe that's dumb, but *shrug*
our local IT guys handle any equipment swap outs (which require a work order and a scheduled time blahblahbla) but any other issues we have to call a 3rd party help desk, and it's the worst. It's a call center full of non technical people following KB flowcharts and scripts. Most of the time its something I could…
Seems like a good place to open a Mt Dew and turkey leg kiosk.
