I can't stop laughing at the vision of all the sheep coming for me.
I can't stop laughing at the vision of all the sheep coming for me.
In college years ago, I was friends with a med student who was on the OB/GYN track. I asked him why he wanted to specialize in lady parts—and my young, uncouth self did it in a way that implied he just wanted to creep out on naked ladies—and he said, "honey, if you saw what we see every day, you would never ever think…
It's taken me nearly seven years and I'm still not done shedding my baby weight—I was overweight when I got pregnant as well. Two years ago, TWO DAYS IN A ROW I had some random asshole say something to me. On day one, I got "hoooo eeeee I sure hope you're pregnant, because damn." On day two, it was jerk #2 looking me…
It's totally not cool to look like you are having fun if you are seated in first class. :-)
Steam cleaning a mattress can be done? Rent a steam cleaner from Home Depot and go to town?
To quote the New York Times from today—"ample, pointless sunshine."
So terribly tragic. I'm so sorry for your loss. Best wishes for you tomorrow.
I read the Facebook apology made by the district and some of the hundreds of comments. One parent said her kids called her after their lunch was trashed—her son had a balance of $3.35. The parents aren't poor, at least some of them aren't, they just forgot to send in the money. This is so angering, those poor kids.
I would never use them except I send out holiday cards, that's $40 or so worth of stamps every year.
Do they carry large sizes? I'm a GG and have been ordering online because I've only found my size as specialty shops or online.
I was in Mumbai last year (on business, but I did manage to do some tourism) and I never felt unsafe. It's really interesting—when I was discussing the country with my Mumbai colleagues, they had VERY unpleasant things to say about people from New Delhi. There is definitely some kind of culture war between the two…
Obviously every one handles relationships in their own way, but if I did like you are doing I would have lost out on many friendships and several close ones that have survived jobs. I also wouldn't have my lovely daughter (my husband and I worked together when we met). :-)
I let my six-year-old online with supervision. I don't think she actually understands the Internet-as-a-vast-world concept. She just knows that if she types in Disney.com she can play Jake and the Neverland Pirates or Sofia the First games.
Because the 13 year old's family wants her on life support. This woman's family does NOT want her on life support. What's really being supported is choice and a desire for people outside of the affected families to stay the fuck out of it. (And yes I realize I am also oversimplifying).
I was going to post something similar. It's sadly apparent that a whole bunch of people—mostly kids—are going to die before this trend is reversed.
Seriously, any pharmacy that doesn't stock medication because of "religious beliefs" should be sued for malpractice and run out of business. Their right to practice religion should stop when it negatively impacts other people's lives.
My six year old was also only scared of the snow monster. I don't know what it is about this movie, but she is OBSESSED (in fact, she's with Daddy watching it in 3D this very second, after I'd already taken her to the 2D version). We now have the soundtrack, dolls, books...it's nuts. I thought the move was good but I…
Hellllooo December 30 here. And it's so much worse because everyone is "saving it" for the next night. Sigh.
OMG I just remembered one of my cats from long ago (RIP Spazzman) ate some tinsel off the Christmas tree. He tried to poop it out but it got just a bit stuck, and he streaked across the apartment with a piece of poop bouncing behind him, connected to his butt with a piece of silver tinsel. Merry Christmas!
You can get the TransUnion score for free at creditkarma.com, which I've been using for years. It also includes the Vantage Score, which was created by a collaboration with all three credit unions. One of the links in the article did indeed make it clear that it is easy to get free credit reports, but more difficult…
