Oh, damn! That’s almost as bad as when I decided to build a tree house, got as far as hammering a couple nails into a branch, hanging the hammer onto one of the nails, tying a string (?!) to the nail and letting it dangle, then completely forgetting about the entire endeavor. A few days later, I look back at the tree…
You can barrel roll anything.
Speeding, for the person perfectly capable of keeping a vehicle pointed straight on a wide open road.
That's not a good hot take. At all.
Fact.
I am inherently biased, but the basic premise of some dude sitting in a most likely windowless room, on the ground, looking at a screen with dots and blobs on it.. who then tells the guy who’s actually flying in the weather that he’s wrong and the weather is light... that right there is fucking stupid. And then…
If the driver gets into a collision it’d be a Tyrannosaurus wreck.
You sound like someone who wears a safety vest that also doubles as a swim vest to church. Dude, you’re going to die one day regardless if you wear flip-flops or not.

Compare a 100,000 mile Mercedes S-Class to a 100,000 Avalon, same year, and one of those will cost the equivalent of college tuition to keep running. It sounds like it was an emergency cut off that was not actually in the cockpit within reach of the pilot, as well as being on the floor possibly under a seat (extrapolating here as it sounds like it would have to be if a seat belt somehow hit it.) I imagine an engine out event escalates much more quickly in a…
As someone who has been through helicopter underwater escape training multiple times, and is sick and twisted enough to actually enjoy it, I’m a bit confused by the “trapped by harness”/”knife to slice through harness” comments. Do these helicopters fly over water with harnesses that are not the twist-lock type?
I used to go body surfing at Bellows AFB (which is where the intended drop was supposed to be) back in the 70's- great waves there.
Back to the story- I think the mention of missing the target by 200 meters is a bit misleading. Looking at the maps- I think that the 200 meters is the distance of the school campus to…
I don’t know that I’d call MREs “non-lethal”.
Liberal use of towels.
Exactly.
More like “Ben and Jerry’s co-founder arrested for being an irritating asshole.
I hope whoever stole it gets colon cancer and dies shitting blood while his family laughs.
