Other than having the same bore center to bore center spacing, you’re not even close to being correct. I doubt you can find a single common part between a 1955 MY 265 and a 5th-gen 6.2L engine.

You’re not wrong

I think even a douche-broified Coyote is still more interesting than an LS.

That’s not an engine.

One trick I have developed to keeping older cars is to just fix them when they break and to just replace worn out parts. I don’t know how many people I’ve talked to that are thinking about replacing their car because it needs shocks and struts. One guy said he wanted to get a new car because his current one needed

ha ha ha ha tough shit good luck with that, professor

Great article!

Looks like an OEM version of CalTrac bars, which work wonders with leaf springs and wheel hop.

Guessing its some kind of anti-hop kit, which says there is something wrong with how they lowered it. Even back in 04 Ford made the rear suspension in such a way it was sweet to drive like a teenager with a borrowed car. I mean I’ve intentionally drifted mine on dry pavement and I got to say it enters and exits the

I’ll fix your analogy. It’s like going to a restaurant that used to make your favorite sandwich and after years have put it back on the menu, except when you order it now, they just open their Door Dash app and have it delivered from another restaurant to the back door where they unwrap it, put it in their own bag,

I’m of the opinion that the prevalence every generation of car is highly fractured and regional - so perceptions of “how many cars are out there” are very biased and skewed towards the region you live in.

For instance, when I travel to San Diego - I see tons of new convertible Mustangs everywhere. You wouldn’t guess

You had the same observation I did, the V8 cars usually look fairly good for their age, the v6 cars are usually trashed beyond belief.  Often the cigarette Burns on the headliner bent control arms sort of trashed

Beautiful car, CoryInAustin. I’m a ‘99 GT owner who is converting to IRS as we speak! =)

I think this whole article is a not-so-subtle satirical dig at Mustang drivers because one idiot Mustang driver hit him on his motorcycle and probably nearly killed him.

I can understand being mad at that driver ... but being mad

My ‘99 Cobra convertible has nearly 160k miles and is still beautiful! I’m the second owner and have had it for nearly 19 years.

<whispers> They also already have a Mustang.

That would have been better, but at the same time, it would have brought that same crowd out of the woodworks that thinks the American automakers would be saved if they just went back to putting pushrod V8s into basically everything whenever an American automaker revives a name they used in the 60s and 70s

Oh I like Galax-E!

It’s... not great. It’s not bad, it’s worse though - it’s dull. All of which leads me to ask, why did it need to be a Mustang?

Even properly aimed HID/LED conversions have huge glare problems because the reflectors aren’t designed for them. They’re illegal for a reason. ;)
