Totally agree, and ran some on my car for about two weeks. No matter how much I readjusted the beam angle, I'd still throw an insane amount of glare due to the housings being designed for halogens. Ended up going back to halogens for now.  Might end up converting a projector set of housings down the road. This is for

Sounds like my nearly stock 01 GT. Bought it so I can build it the way I want. So far, only issue is the clear peeling on the wing.

Yup. Exactly why I still do the old man routine of going inside to run my card. Always throws off the counter person. "Uh, you could have done this at the punp." "No thanks,  I don't enjoy a random charge for 1200 euros for something when I don't live in Europe..., then dealing with the card peoples."

GM and electrical problems? Sounds familiar. Lol. I ended up rewiring some bits on my 30 year old k1500, including the primaries.. yet, also a 30 year old rig, so it's expected. :)

My old 89 k1500 gmc has a block heater for this reason. (Alaska). Just keep it plugged in overnight. Keeps the coolant and oil warm. Also helps for a quick warm up. :)

I had the same feeling when I decided to wander past some old industrial and an old Ford building off of Broad and Lehigh in Philly a few months ago. Trying to picture what it was like almost a hundred years ago.

Classic!!

My 86 had a fiberglass rear door/hatch. :/

Lol. I got my 93 xlt for free. Minus transfer fees of course. Been in the family for 25 years, and dad (who was a mechanic and welder since the early 70's) kept it in great shape. Random people come up to me, “Oh wow, that’s one of nicest ones I’ve seen.” Me, “ Ether I took it, or he was going to take it to the junk

Had some bad luck with engines?

That's how I am. I'll fix my own garbage first. Probably why my 29 year old truck still runs (and drives) with 293k/mi on it. That and a early 90's suv. One a chev the other a ford (I don't brand discriminate unless it's a "fix it again Tony! ").

Hahahahah

Retro, dude.

Star because Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince - Bel-Air theme going with. ;)

It’s a “sic duly”! Lol...

Now I have the old “Like a rock” ad song stuck in my head. Damnit Bob Segar!

It’s all in the gearing. My old Dakota I had regeared from the craptastic 3.55:1 open diff to 4.11:1 with Detroit truetrac and small 29" tires. First gear is 4.01:1, 2nd is 2.42:1. So I generally start in 2nd, except for hills. Otherwise I’m always shifting into 2nd at 10-12. Stop and go traffic I just ride first with

Exactly what I did. ~45°’ed it.

Hmm.. we must have the same neighbor! Does yours walk or drive by (while your under a vehicle) and exclaim loudly, “Now what is he doing?!” I’m under there muttering, “I’m changing my oil and fuel filter!” Wtf! Haha

At least yours was a stick. My 89 RS (with t-tops) had the slushbox 700R4 with the still anemic 2.8L V6 (badass 135HP lemme tell ya!!) Haha, opening up the exhaust, k&n, and installing a transgo shift-kit with the vette servo did help .. slightly. These days I wish I would have kept it. Would’ve been wicked with a LS
