“Geralt? Geralt? GERALT!”

Cool! Jessica Hynes, Martin Freeman, Tamsin Greig, Reece Shearsmith, Matt Lucas and Julia Deakin!

They’d have to cast Hafþór Björnsson as that guy’s brother.

It’d be for the Greater Good.

Yarp.

Hot Fuzz needs the sequel, not Shaun of the Dead. Hot Fuzz.

All of this sounds like a slice of fried gold

It’s been so long since I watched Shaun of the Dead that the picture above just helped me realize that Shaun’s mom was “Harriet Jones. Prime Minster.” (“Yes, I know.”)

Thinking it is this guy.

I get the impression Gizmodo really doesn’t want to like this series, but the tone of the articles I’ve read about it tell me that it’s exactly what I want it to be. It actually looks good to me. The Punisher ought to be disturbing. If they make him disturbing they’re doing it right.

+1 for Mighty Boosh video at the end. XD

I was hoping that the sequel would just consist of the humans returning and just nuking Pandora from orbit.

“I was going to tell them it was your idea!” IS pretty great. The one that also got me was “Tell them that joke you know”. I mean, is this one cool Bruce or what? Things are about to get real in Gotham, and he just throws this off the top of his head.

Bale/Nolan. I know people will say he wasn’t doing much detection, or the action was bad or gosh, the suit was bad, but they nailed the humanity of the character. He isn’t some obsessive hulk or fascist or perfect specimen. He’s a haunted, driven person who wants to help fix the world and make it so he isn’t needed.

That joke sounds mighty familiar... did you steal it?

Harriet Jones

It’s a bit of a shame that Harriet’s sacrifice—done because it was her duty to the world, even after the Doctor had arrogantly scuppered her premiership when he regenerated in “The Christmas Invasion”—has been undone.

You don’t think women can be just as misogynistic as men?

Or not. Having an undetermined female director does not guarantee any sort of result one way or another. Now, if you were to point to a particular director, you could make assumptions based upon earlier work. But as of now, all you could say is “welp, it could be a woman.”
