I understand the pressure to have a child of your own - especially for women, but they’re not fucking children! They’re grown ass motherfuckin’ adults. They should KNOW that a child is not an object! You don’t get one to fix your life or make it complete!

The only reason this bothers is me is because of the inevitable stress this kid will have over caring for aging parents, long before that would normally happen. My mother was 41 when I was born, my father 42, and now in my twenties I am already beginning to worry about the innumerable problems that come with caring…

On the one hand, they could die tomorrow and leave their child an orphan.

I wear snug-fitting tank tops under a lot of my more flowy shirts. That helps keep them reigned in a bit. It took some getting used to, but I’m so much more comfortable going braless than I am when I’m wearing a bra with underwire. No matter how good they fit, they start to cut in at some point during the day.

Bottom line: If you spend your time and energy on trying to persuade women out of what should be a freely made decision, instead of using your time and energy towards making life better for mothers in meaningful ways, you are not on women’s side. You are being coercive. You are being immoral.

And going to an actual doctor accomplishes that. There is no crisis of medical or mental health care for people after their abortions. By-and-large, most people are happy and confident in their choice to terminate their pregnancy. Women in crisis over the choice to terminate represent a tiny fraction of people seeking…

There is little in the way of medical or emotional risks to having an abortion. Maybe you could start your campaign to improve women’s lives by not lying to them to get what you want?

I think it’s important to clarify that they did not inform her of real ‘reasons,’ they simply lied to her to scare her. Abortion does not effect your ability to become pregnant subsequently nor does it raise your chances of breast cancer.
