This is where I stand on most movies, especially fucking Marvel movies. Good storylines and practical effects will always win out over copious SFX that just act as filler.

I watched the Midsommar director’s cut just the day before seeing this movie, and that’s a perfect example of a long movie that didn’t seem long to me. The original theatrical release was like 2 and a half hours and it didn’t feel long to me at all; they added like 25 minutes to the director’s cut and it really didn’t

As a die hard Rowling fan I lost a lot of respect for her after her defense of Depp, she could have said nope to his casting and she’d probably got her way. I wished that they had kept Colin Farrell - it wouldn’t have taken much tweaking of the story for him to put the more charismatic disguise of his character back

I’ve always actually thought you can only enjoy the book if you are able to overlook its really weird thrown together elements. Some people love the mystic turtle shit, I always thought it would be stronger without (though I guess if you got into the Dark Tower stuff, it probably made you retroactively like it a lot

60 Minutes Australia is trash. It used to be more like the US one, but for proper journalism you gotta watch the ABC or SBS. (Aussie version of the BBC.) Or just read The Guardian.

To be fair, this cologne has been overall a massive hit for Dior and sold extremely well.

Indeed. He was the reason I didn’t even consider seeing the second “Fantastic Beasts” film. His appearance at the end of the first one made me lose all interest in the franchise.

Haven’t we all been ugly crying for the past 2+ years?

There were rumors about her heart but there were also pretty credible reports that she drank a whole lot of Red Bull. That can cause heart palpitations, and from what I hear, doctors are saying energy drinks just shouldn’t be consumed, period. I think she had a lot of things that indirectly contributed to her death,

Just...don’t. I mean, I’ll allow acceptance of tried-but-disliked items from a close friend/family member - you know them, and their shit, and you know when they bought it and the circumstances in which they keep it, and when they tell you they only tried it once, you can believe them - but otherwise, da fuq you doin,

Been there, done that, too cheap to buy the T-shirt.

Aprons are not only for the kitchen. Just saying... 😉

Look, Liam!!! Who needs all this drama? I may be a plus sized, middle aged woman with too many kids, but I’m no trouble at all. I also barrack for the Western Bulldogs so we can go to the footy together!!!! Just a thought, anyway!!!

Agreed. Not trying to nit-pick his words, but using “females” instead of “women” always rubs me wrong.

Wanda Sykes nailed it when she said The Bachelor’s rose ceremony basically equated a man tapping women he deems worthy to bone on the forehead with his dick and them going crazy with happiness when he does. I hate that we see so much about this show on Jezebel, even if it’s dirt bag.

Impossible?  They happen every fucking day.  GET RID OF THE FUCKING GUNS.  Fuck me.  You are the ONLY country on Earth with this problem.  GET IT THE FUCK TOGETHER.

No. You have to drag your newborn to the pediatrician several times in the first 6 weeks, but no one will look or say a thing to you between discharge and 6 weeks. Even your c-section stitches will just dissolve. they give you handouts of what to do if you start passing clots larger than a golfball and that’s...about

The US military can easily take out hardened terrorists/freedom fighters all around the world -- let alone actual militaries. What do these fuckers think will happen to them if they openly attack the US government?

Women should be getting home visits from a midwife for up to six weeks, to check that their perineum is healing, that their c-section wounds are healing, to make sure feeding is going well, to make sure they aren’t falling into a pit of depression and loneliness. They should be getting paid for protected

This isn’t somebody who is charitably campaigning to improve postnatal care for women. She is someone with a product to sell. A reusable water bottle works really well. I am betting that nappies and ice packs are a whole lot cheaper and just as effective as the product she is offering.
