Based on context, I think the writer specifically meant movies that incorporate the pandemic as a plot element/acknowledge it, or ones that exist because of the constraints put on productions in terms of testing, crew size, location, etc. Not just any movie that came out during the pandemic.
In theaters Nov 23, on Netflix Dec 23. Since it’s absolutely impossible for AV Club to include this shit anymore.
When I saw the trailer I was immediately excited about, and then gravely disappointed that she’s only briefly seen attending a normal high school before getting shipped off to Nevermore. I’d have much rather seen a series about Wednesday in the setting of a regular high school. Plus they could’ve had some fun with the…
Hey! Don’t you dare go after Volunteer Proofreader’s job!
lol it's so very on brand for Disney to shoot themselves in the foot by passing up merchandising opportunities to avoid having to pay someone
My cousin has recently, as in the past 2 years, fallen in with a Christian Cult and this is her honest to god literal stance. Well, except for the money part, that goes to the church as a part of her Biblically accurate 10% tithe and additional donations of time and money. She’s saved but I have never seen a living…

“But Latin men/women didn’t exist in a game in fantasy made by a Japanese Company!” said the Internet.
I forget when I stopped watching, it was around the time Negan was introduced, but randomly read a review on AVC a couple of years later and they were STILL talking about him like the story hadn’t progressed at all. Doesn’t sound like I missed much.
