The complete reversal of Jeff's character development is a major sticking point with me here.

Just saw the episode. Still have no idea what exactly to make of it. This is going to warrant a rewatch and some serious pondering.
Can't speak for the wider fanbase, but I was and continue to be horrified by the removal of Dan Harmon and greatly apprehensive as to what it means for the show's future.
The characters' various flaws have certainly been exaggerated significantly with time, but to say that Troy wasn't nigh-completely clueless in S1, that Jeff wasn't fairly torn between being nice and being a dick or that Abed didn't have some serious mental issues would be very incorrect. We see all of these traits…
Unfortunately, for me the jury is still out on whether I like those odds.
No one is on the other side of this issue!
Agreed! I can't state enough how much I love to see Pierce treated like a real human being rather than a villain or the butt of the joke. It's always very refreshing.
Ah, a good tip to know, thanks!
Can you name where all of the characters' costumes are from? I can only recognize Troy's (Blazing Saddles) and Abed's (The Man with No Name from the Dollars trilogy, the inspiration for this episode's title).
Here's the review, sorry it's late! Now for a truly horrifying amount of formatting.
Boys become men by never crying and drinking the blood of slain deer, if Red Dawn has taught me anything.
As long as you avoid /v/, /b/ and some of the more obvious boards to avoid you won't run into anything too bad on 4chan. A few of the boards are actually pretty good all-round.
Just wanted to let y'all know that my review for "A Fistful of Paintballs" is on track to be completed by this time tomorrow, as scheduled.
Merry Christmas, everybody.

"Skytanic" is amazing.
Smaug's introduction was very bizarre for me, as for some reason I think I was subconsciously expecting a giant Sherlock instead of a dragon.
How did I not notice this? I love the Blade opening scene.
Saw it yesterday myself, and loved it. They really nailed the book perfectly.
