All we know is that Sony does apparently have some interest in seeing the show continue to air. We've heard nothing about any other parties being interested in buying the rights, though.

Several sources who seem actually informed on the subject, such as one of the reporters who first broke that Community would not be renewed, have said that Sony has indeed been shopping the show around.
