I want to play this game for the incredible animation and enemy design, but I don’t think I have the patience for supremely difficult games anymore. I was very entertained during streams by that enemy that dives down out of the sky with a yell and smashes people to bits, though. ;-)

I wish trailer editors would use a greater variety of sound FX. I think I heard the same scream 3 times in this trailer.

I found my old favorite from D1, the roller ball bomb, and the drone exceedingly hard to use in the open beta. Haven’t purchased the final game yet.

Two things:

Ubisoft knew it would get them massive amounts of coverage for free. It’s brilliant. They knew exactly what buttons to push.

Ubisoft marketing knew exactly how to get a huge amount of pre-release coverage with one sentence. Their marketing team deserves a raise.

I am replaying the much maligned Ryse Son of Rome right now - for the third time - now on Legendary. I’m loving it. I’m also mining multiplayer for achievements. This game got a new life on games pass. I bought it AFTER I beat it from a gamefly rental. Yes, I enjoyed it that much.

I want them to fix performance. Drop resolution to 1080p, whatever, I don’t care. Just get me up to solid 30 fps on XBone X.

Games Pass makes this game worth it.
