I see a lot of twitter activity about Starfield being snubbed. Couldn’t get into it. I tried... but “it gets good 20 hours in” is not something I have patience for anymore. I’m just aging out of some of the big games. Man, I’m gettin’ older by the minute.

I even went to the Sega website to check - I don’t play any of their newer games! They’d get me back in a heartbeat with Jet Set Radio Future in HD.

I can’t remember the last time I played a Sega game. I can’t even think of one I would want to play on gamepass. I did listen to the dreamcast PSO soundtrack today while doing boring work, though!

That’s probably correct! I don’t see how the acquisition resulted in anything meaningful for that market (yet?). I guess we can chalk it up to more poor decisions from this douche. 

Did he oversee the Unity aquisition of Weta Digital? Why in the world was that decision made? For someone who talks about monetizing everything, I struggle to make sense of how spending an enormous amount of money to buy a visual FX company helped their bottom line.

Game companies need to do whatever they can to guarantee us more Jennifer Hale voice work. She’s the best reason to play as Female Shepherd in Mass Effect!

Seems like Riccitiello is the person who makes that decision, but other commenters that are more knowledgeable about Unity suggest he is merely the tip of the iceberg.

I wonder if shareholders will hold Riccitiello to account for the shit storm. Probably not.

I love taking shots with my non-pro Pixel 7. I honestly think I’m going to like Macro better than telephoto. Tempted to upgrade early.

I wonder if the shareholders feel OK about the damage he did to the company and stock price! Hopefully he gets voted out. 

I feel like they damaged the brand so badly last week that they may have had no other choice than to remove that “Made with Unity” screen for personal licenses.

I’ll check it out when it inevitably goes on sale near the end of the year. I haven’t played CP2077 at all. I’ve given it time to get fixed and I feel like I’ll have a much better experience now.

Went to price out a 15 pro just for grins, and apple doesn’t even list my pixel 7 as a device they accept with trade in (pixel 6 is listed at $90 trade in value). One of the reasons I got a pixel 7 was that google gave me an enormous amount to trade in my pixel 5.

Those iPhone cameras are great - I’d be happy getting…

That’s another one I must add to the list. 10 hours at 1.5x is kind of insane.

I’m a middle aged adult with a job and I am exhausted all of the time. I don’t have energy to get through 12 or so hours of “tedium” before the game gets good. This was the problem for me with No Man’s Sky, this is still a problem for me with Starfield.
