What a disappointment! I’d settle for The Division on the high seas, as long as I didn’t have to fight online people who practice WAY more than me. Perhaps I’ll still try it to see what is going on. Seriously - just a single player naval combat game would be nice.

I see a lot of twitter activity about Starfield being snubbed. Couldn’t get into it. I tried... but “it gets good 20 hours in” is not something I have patience for anymore. I’m just aging out of some of the big games. Man, I’m gettin’ older by the minute.

I even went to the Sega website to check - I don’t play any of their newer games! They’d get me back in a heartbeat with Jet Set Radio Future in HD.

I can’t remember the last time I played a Sega game. I can’t even think of one I would want to play on gamepass. I did listen to the dreamcast PSO soundtrack today while doing boring work, though!

Game companies need to do whatever they can to guarantee us more Jennifer Hale voice work. She’s the best reason to play as Female Shepherd in Mass Effect!

Seems like Riccitiello is the person who makes that decision, but other commenters that are more knowledgeable about Unity suggest he is merely the tip of the iceberg.

I wonder if shareholders will hold Riccitiello to account for the shit storm. Probably not.

I wonder if the shareholders feel OK about the damage he did to the company and stock price! Hopefully he gets voted out. 

I feel like they damaged the brand so badly last week that they may have had no other choice than to remove that “Made with Unity” screen for personal licenses.

I’ll check it out when it inevitably goes on sale near the end of the year. I haven’t played CP2077 at all. I’ve given it time to get fixed and I feel like I’ll have a much better experience now.

That’s another one I must add to the list. 10 hours at 1.5x is kind of insane.

I’m a middle aged adult with a job and I am exhausted all of the time. I don’t have energy to get through 12 or so hours of “tedium” before the game gets good. This was the problem for me with No Man’s Sky, this is still a problem for me with Starfield.

That is a good way to scratch the itch. I also just don’t have time for giant games anymore, so might be a good option for MGS4+5

I really enjoyed it back in the day, so the rose colored glassed may have a powerful effect on me.

I’m not really into classic/retro games anymore. But it’s hard for me to ignore this one for one last go-round.

I’m most excited for the pre-HD metal gears in the collection anyway. MGS1 had a big impact on me. :-)

Dang, time to dig out a physical copy, then? If it’s BC, that is. Loved them, especially the second one. Just great shooters and unbelievable love for transformers.

And I thought killing HBO Max for just “Max” was a bad branding idea. Even my techno-challenged parents know what it means to “tweet.” That kind of brand recognition in pop-culture is almost unheard of.
