Two years ago at least made sense. Rookie contract, guarantees, give it one last shot to see if he can put it all together. Resigning him last winter though... we all laughed even at the time.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks like he turned his body to avoid the dirty hit we’re assuming he just missed?
I never watched the show but heard decent things. So they just ended it with Clark finally becoming SuperMan, roll credits kinda thing?
David Robinson wasn’t actually on a roster though. Ben Simmons was on an NBA roster and cashing 76ers checks. He went through the travel and practice regimen of an NBA season even if he wasn’t able to fully participate. That’s a legitimate leg up on kids who were balancing “school” and ball the year before.
Right, but that year Ben Simmons was getting paid by the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA so he’s not a real rookie by what the definition should be whereas Donovan Mitchell was only getting paid by Louisville.
I’ve seen a lot worse let go. That’s technically not wrong but after the last 2, that’s the time you want to call that 50/50 tech???
I can’t believe I’m saying this in 2018 without any semblance of sarcasm, but the Warriors really miss Javale McGee!
I don’t want to downplay the popularity or the appeal of Maroon 5. They are considered the most popular band of the 21st Century
Went to college in North Philly. Can confirm.
It was always stupid to think Jackson should be a WR. I don’t know that he’s ever a true top 10 franchise guy but there’s no reason he can’t be Tyrod Taylor at worst, Dak as the most likely comp, with upside being Russell Wilson.
Eeeeh. I think a World Series with Boston vs. LA was probably exactly what MLB wanted and got. It’s awful for the sport as a whole and why I HATE when everyone’s all “dump the draft” and “no salary cap” when talking about how LeBron is underpaid or whatever, but for the leagues themselves, major metros being the…
I live in Boston but don’t care about baseball but am surrounded by it enough to hear enough that I think I may get this.
I’m calling this now. Zion will not be a “legend” anywhere. His game screams not an NBA superstar. I think his ceiling is maybe a slightly better Draymond. He’ll be fine, but if he’s your number 1 or 2, you’re gonna be average at best. I think he’s gotten by on size and athleticism moreso than a ton of skill. …
You have to go back to the days when true franchise running backs like Ricky Williams and Priest Holmes were ruling the NFL in order to find a performance comparable to Henry’s.
This means the NFL and the Chiefs knew a video existed, and they were either satisfied with what Hunt told them at the time, or were simply hoping the video never got out.
I really think the Melo hate has gone too far the other way. He’s in year 15 of a HOF career, of course he’s not good anymore, but in his prime, he was a monster.
I remember being so bummed we missed on him and Jabari Parker in that draft. Thank God I am not a GM.
I’m sure you’re referring to Demarcus Ware but Zeke and half that line are headed there barring injury (or stupidity from Zeke)
Have we learned nothing from years past? They don’t go 5-11 usually. Usually they build hype and expectations then lose in heartbreaking fashion.
Sure but this isn’t a normal job. They get 30-70K worth of wages in the form of free scholarships. I think that’s more than enough for the schools to do but what I think is the reasonable compromise is to allow players to profit from their likeness. If Nike wants to pay Zion, let him get that paper. If the local car…
