True but in those cases, almost all of them are paid from booster funds and not actually via taxpayer money.

Wendall Carter looks pretty good!
Because I am “a LeBron hater” (aka someone who dares to insist that “only” being the 2nd or 3rd best basketball player ever isn’t an insult just because, no, he’s definitely not better than MJ and rings do matter and he had the talent to do more,) it’s really important to point out that that “Tristan Thompson’s…
LOL If by “that kid” you mean “those 3 kids” then ya.
I once met Manute at Foxwoods briefly. Nice guy. Shook his hand and his fingers went halfway up my forearm.
It has to be the Bills. They finally break a decades long playoff draught and lose 3-10 to the Jaguars then immediately trade the only QB that’s gotten them to the playoffs since most college kids were born then trade up to get the worst throwing high QB prospect in the draft who’s looked like slightly faster Tebow.…
Hey guys, I’m starting to think Reuben Foster may not be such a good guy
Kaep’s limitations as a thrower and unique physical gifts make a lot of situations tougher for him. The glaring ones for me that the silence spoke volumes were Houston, Seattle, and the Redskins though who have offenses that are somewhat close to what he ran in SF and rely on QBs with similar styles (albeit ones who…
...and lost to Joe Flacco lol
The only reasonable case is that RG3 is at least playing organized football right now. No matter what Kaep’s doing, he’s not on a team or ingesting a playbook so right now (meaning for week 12) RG3 would be a better option. Give Kaep a few weeks to actually learn his new playbook though, and ya, I’m with you.
Kaep only gives them a better chance if he knows the playbook. He doesn’t. At all. In a month, ya, sure, but you can’t sign a guy today and start him Sunday.
No matter who they sign, they’re gonna need minimum 2-3 weeks to learn the offense and get in there. Minimum. Kaep (or Josh Johnson or EJ Manual or whoever) is not leading this team. That will be Colt McCoy for the rest of the season for better or worse.
This doesn’t pass the eye test. Does that look like a guy who would vape on a plane?
I don’t think it’s a beard, it’s a strap to keep what’s left of his hair where it is.
Celtics fan with season tickets back in the day. Antoine was way ahead of his time. His game today is the prototypical point forward. 22 year old Antoine in 2018 NBA would be a problem. Just don’t let him hang out with MJ. You can’t keep up, save your money!
With that injury, they really don’t. At best, he’ll be a shell of himself come June assuming he can even come back. He may never be the same but it’s wildly unlikely he’ll be even 70% of what he was this year anyway.
Even if that was true, they’re about to extend Draymond’s (90M) extension so unless you mean he shouldn’t count against the cap ever for his whole Warriors career, that doesn’t matter as much here.
Steph has more MVPs and titles without KD than KD ever had without him and ain’t like KD wasn’t playing with a loaded squad too. KD is AWESOME but Steph is better.
It’s only suppressing the tippy top who will already end up making Power Ball money by the time they retire to ensure the middle class gets theirs. It’s a union doing what a union should do and taking care of everyone and the player heads of said union are superstars who would be among that select group whose $$$ may…
How does that make sense though? Isn’t football related revenue supposed to be split at a set percentage? Did you later get adjusted checks if the percentage breakout didn’t actually end up with players getting their set percentage of all revenue kinda thing?
