The only reasonable case is that RG3 is at least playing organized football right now. No matter what Kaep’s doing, he’s not on a team or ingesting a playbook so right now (meaning for week 12) RG3 would be a better option. Give Kaep a few weeks to actually learn his new playbook though, and ya, I’m with you.

Kaep only gives them a better chance if he knows the playbook.  He doesn’t.  At all.  In a month, ya, sure, but you can’t sign a guy today and start him Sunday.

No matter who they sign, they’re gonna need minimum 2-3 weeks to learn the offense and get in there. Minimum. Kaep (or Josh Johnson or EJ Manual or whoever) is not leading this team. That will be Colt McCoy for the rest of the season for better or worse.
