Did the Stamp rejected logo designs also return to the lifestream?

For the less medically inclined: A subdural hematoma is when you bleed into the space between the brain and a thick lining of tissue around the brain called the dura mater, and that blood puts pressure on the brain. Think of like what would happen to an orange if you injected water underneath the peel.

So let me get this straight: they just had Hogwarts Legacy, a best-selling game of 2023 that’s single-player with no microtransactions and no live-service component to it, and Suicide Squad which is a GaaS disaster (in a successful Arkham series that was single-player up to this point) that went as low as 250 players

...it statements like this that really makes me wonder how these business people got to where they are. A non-live service game like Hogwarts Legacy outsells every game last year, and then a game burdened with live-service content like Suicide Squad tanks, and they seem to think Suicide Squad is the same sort of game

Oh good, so not only did they learn the opposite of what Suicide Squad’s failure should have taught them, they’ve also decided to only milk four franchises from now on.

I’m hoping for a FF: Chadley spinoff.  120 hours of Chadley lines where you stand in a room.

To paraphase Homer Simpson, whenever Chadley’s not on screen, all the other characters should be asking, “Where’s Chadley?”

Skipping Chadley? How can anyone feel anything but sheer, unadulterated joy at the prospect of more Chadley?

I’ve been playing this over the weekend and it’s amazing. The best part of it are the accessibility options that allow you to tweak how punishing the game is. You can edit how much loot you lose if you die or whether there’s a timer on exploration. This was extremely welcome for me, as without, I would’ve gotten too

I don’t think anyone ever looks at the amount of words/pages in a novel as ‘content’, it’s such a weird way to describe something like that.

I don’t think you can just offhandedly define videogames as a thing like that, at least not if you want to be taken seriously. It’s pointlessly and incorrectly reductive. Video games are a medium and an art form just like any other, and they can be designed for any number of playstyles or reactions they’d like to draw

Sounds like it suffers from the problem that the first part of the remake had where it went “Hey, remember that single model of a mecha hand in the rubble on your way between two screens? What if that was the central focus of an entire 45 minute dungeon sequence, and you have to interact with it repeatedly”

Rebirth

But it does. Bloodborne has always run poorly and it never got any sort of update or enchantment for the ps4 pro or the ps5. People are begging for the bare minimum but it becomes a remaster because that’s the only business case for Sony to actually provide an update. Also they are putting out more and more games on

It’s important to note, I think, that it’s not parody. Spaceballs is a work of parody - it has affection for its source material while poking fun at its inherent ridiculousness. Starship Troopers, as a genre piece, is exactly what it says on the tin. It is an over-the-top, absurd sci-fi action flick, it is not

Look at how they don’t even name Palworld in their statements. Clearly they aren’t 100% on going to court over possibly finding some infringing material. So they make a vague statement about an unnamed game so they can avoid being counter-sued for slander. Meanwhile they will CONTINUE to investigate Palworld (because

Sorry but a wikipedia page is not a legitimate source for understanding something as complex as copyright law.

How are you distinguishing between a meme and a merited success at this stage, though? You don’t know what this game’s long term sales are like, it hasn’t been out long enough. It seems like you could make this same argument right after any high profile game launch if you happen to dislike the game.

Thankfully the major cities and castles have fixed fast travel points, and DD2 seems to have the infinite travel stone like DD1 so you can always quickly get to major locations, no real issues.

No matter how many bells and whistles you throw at me, I’m still going to want to get back to certain areas faster than traveling across a vast open landscape will let me.

Then maybe the show shouldn’t focus on Master Chief but the people around him and the grander mission and politics.
