Wow, they managed to create a less interesting version of “I saw some Mudcrabs by the water recently. Nasty things.” Truly remarkable.

I prefer to think of it as performance arts software: you don’t play it with the expectation that it will ever be a good game, but rather, you watch to see what strange shape the end of the project will be as the madness continues.

Honestly, it’s pretty bad, yeah: you spend hours digging for stuff to learn the lore, but there’s no gameplay to apply it to, and it does nothing to contextualize the story. The ending to a game should never be, “boy, something sure happened, I assume” even AFTER you go through all that effort.

Phrasing it as a bailout in general is also off: the Fed caused the current problems by cratering the value of Treasury securities by raising the interest rate by almost 5% in a year, despite having lowered said rate in response to Covid.

“Goblins, frustrated with being considered lesser-than, have taken to violence to gain equality, and in our society, that’s a no-no).”

You’re right, but that’s also sadly the crux of their problem: they want to prove the benefits of their tech by showing a style already recognized as distinct, but they have to do that because they aren’t artists who can create a distinct style themselves, and no sane, already recognized artist will risk letting an AI

I feel really bad for the people who didn’t do the side quests first, because everything with Johnny doesn’t work if you don’t hang out with him, and it’s the only way to learn not only how bad the corporations really are, but also that another major war is about to start.

AI: “Just remake Thriller Bark.”

There’s nothing wrong with using things like “racist imagery found in old Disney or Popeye cartoons featuring indigenous people” if it serves some artistic point about a time period; it’s only if it’s an actual endorsement, or if someone doesn’t see the controversy, where serious problems should arise.

While they can technically avoid paying by living in poverty, it’s more likely that they’ll choose to try and pay at least enough to avoid that.

Speaking from playing the tech test, the innovations are mostly quality of life features: infantry jump over the chest high walls, squads automatically reinforce, tank crews don’t go rogue when ordered to work together, side armor properly works, infantry will warn you when someone is about to wipe them out with a

Had the same thought, but there’s nothing about being a UK citizen in the article, only that they’re from the UK, which might mean they aren’t a permanent resident.

I have to ask, does everything look washed out because of hardware limitations, or is that an artistic choice? The lighting just looks really ugly to me.

I agree with both parties, so let’s get rid of exclusives and force them both to compete on quality instead of bank account size.

I was going to comment, but I accidentally moved my foot, so now a ballerina alien is casting MAGIC? at me.

I am very biased, but the Austin Powers one was just too perfect.

That fact that randomly generated reaction content is on point with the “genre” is about right, yeah.

“The background designer is credited as ‘AI (+ Human).’ Um, I’m pretty sure that the human has an actual name”

Vhy yees, I too am a human, let me just zee your neck- vait, vhat iz vfiz bullshit?!?

The gameplay is definitely among the best; just wish the writing was either good, or at least even funnier...
