I don’t really see how allowing people to lose (or win) for money is going to help the North American Counterstrike teams: every match these guys could win (or lose) would be suspect, and a non-permanent ban would almost certainly lead to unscrupulous teams weighing the risks of fixing a match against the temporary

Yeah, the idea of convincing the Institute or the Brotherhood to treat everyone equally is laughable, no matter how much “star power” a person has; human’s just can’t change their way of thinking that quickly, and no speech or reasoned argument is going to change that.

The quality of the jokes depend more on the localization team than the game itself; a good team will replace the Japanese puns with English ones, while a bad team won’t even notice the Japanese puns at all. As Japanese games seem to love puns, this is probably the biggest hurdle.

Hell, kids really shouldn’t believe in Santa at all; it’s literally a lie done entirely for the parent’s own amusement. At best, the kid will feel like a moron for ever believing in Santa, and at worst, the kid will start to wonder if his parents are actually trustworthy at all.

All the infantry being able to climb a wall felt more like an AI crutch than a feature; how the hell does someone using a two handed weapon get to the top of a wall and actually manage to use it? There shouldn’t even be room to swing the damn thing, if the wall is guarded. And that crap is hard-coded: the AI straight

You crazy, Medieval 2 is still the best of the series: the ‘weight’ of each unit as they charge feels great, and the diversity in units is still probably the best in the series.

The problem wasn’t gender, Remember Me just doesn’t grab people: the game’s trailer is really generic, the visuals don’t stand out, and the combat doesn’t grab people enough to let them give the game a chance. It looks (and feels) like just another “action game with puzzles”, and that really hurts it.

It’s a “meditative game”: it’s meant to be replayed (kind of like a rougelike), not played once and then shelved. If people are playing it once, and then shelving it, then it’s not really being played like its supposed to be.

So it does; strange, Steam only listed “browse all seven reviews” yesterday, and only loaded seven. Now it says, “browse all 12”, and then “browse all 57” after I press that.

Expand seems like the kind of game that would have done fairly well back when Flower was making the artsy genre of games popular, but late 2015 is a much harsher place.

Not knowing about a game that has seven reviews on Steam isn’t exactly out of the loop...

That’s why the games I mentioned specifically are also available for consoles; I don’t think Borderlands 2 requires Steam on computer either, but can’t be sure, since I don’t own it...

Rainbow Six has, what, 11 maps? That means Counterstrike actually has more maps right now than it does, with no actual guarantee that Rainbow’s maps are actually better. CS:GO also has a map-maker and a community that actually makes maps: Rainbow Six has neither.

Ludwig can one-shot you with his greatsword combo, so yeah, it can happen. That was my problem: I had trouble keeping track of the sword, and had no idea how to parry him. It was really damn annoying, so it stuck out.

Think of it this way: the Orphan of Kos does crazy damage with a wide variety of moves, but the beach provides a *massive* area to run around in, which makes keeping distance from him a bit easier, and gives you time to learn his patterns and tells. In other words, even if the Orphan is more unpredictable in terms of

Welp, I guess it’s finally time to kill your friends and replace them with synths. Be sure to keep more than four away from the game though: wouldn’t want to miss out on future referral prizes!

Was that it? I though it was a sim to see if the Patriot AIs could control humanity through the use of information (quite a bit more than just controlling information itself), because Raiden was considered (by them) to be a template for humanity as a whole.

It’s non-canon to the Metal Gear Solid series, which is why it’s called Metal Gear Rising: Revengence. It’s still presumably canon to the universe, but it doesn’t have to be canon for the fans of the Solid series.

All over the place, but mainly in video form and the Reddit Bloodborne sub. For videos, try Epicnamebro’s let’s play, or Vattividyas lores series.

1. Most Kin are gender-neutral, so giving one a deliberate gender has deliberate implications.
