Stellaris is my first Paradox game and I was worried about the difficulty as well. Normal in this game is definitely easy-mode. It’s probably too easy for all but your first couple of games, but it’s a great way to learn the game stress-free. I recommend giving it a try if you’re on the fence.

Actually, warriors do this a lot. Not rope a dope, but hold a strategy until the 4th quarter. If you trap, show or double hard too early.often, it gives the opposing players time to adjust and then learn to tic tac toe you for open shots. Then when you stop you give up the open shots off the pick- bad scenario.
