Visually fascinating, you’re right, brazen in bucking against narrative expectations, but also the host of some of the best performances of the year. Mr Nancy’s first monologue was like nothing else on screen, and Mr World’s salsa speech, amazing.

Well, that’s certainly an opinion.
American Gods.
The gun debate was a muddled mess, but Frank and Karen’s excellent battle couple action in that episode was awesome.
As they should, this show ended up being the best one. They should steal Karen for real this time, though.
I wouldnt think they are, just noting their similarities now that they’re the other two.
This episode was terrible, especially after the last one.
IMDB has always been a cesspit, now they don’t have the forums I can only assume the reviews have become significantly worse.
Excellent reviews as ever, Caroline.
That Full Punisher slaughter was equal parts awesome and horrifying, which is probably about right.
I knew she looked familiar!
I didn’t care about Sam (although the actor did remarkably well with his final scene) because he was just kind of there. At one point he was going to go on a date maybe. I kept waiting for him to die, because in my head the biggest problem with Madani is that she’s living out Misty Knight’s plot, but less…
Absolutely deserved a spot because this trailer was not just the best trailer Marvel has ever done, but a genuine standout for the year.
Only a casual 10 episodes late!
He did a truly great job with a character that could have been so awful in less deft hands. He reminds me of Jack O Connell, with that same sort of thready physicality. Right now he’s my standout performer of the ensemble.
Given that Karen’s appearance here was a result of the showrunner clocking the chemistry of the two together, I’ve decided I’m on board with them doing more things that just come out of organic storytelling. I’m all for pursuing what works without being chained to the source material. They’ve got a much more…
I’ve been surprised by how overtly romantic it’s all been because I really thought for a second they were going there.
Woo! Finally caught up to the reviews.
Whatever position its characters adopt, I agree the show itself certainly doesn’t serm to glorify it. The scene with Lewis nearly shooting himself in the head was terrifying.
“Was I ... doing dishes?”
