The biggest change I hope to see in the near future is something that I know would excite Jesus: Not just more pixels, but more touch points. Make this thing replace a Wacom with an incredibly higher precision touchscreen. Make using a stylus go from feeling like writing with a dull crayon to a mechanical pencil.

Considering I replaced the glass back of my 4S earlier this month, I agree 100%

I've resold 2 iPhones to pay for new ones. As you said, they do stay in pretty decent shape throughout their lives, but I take good care of mine to craigslist them when I'm ready to upgrade. Since they're off-contract I can get almost what I paid for them.

Why would this have taken 40 years to cause these problems? Wouldn't the concentration of these chemicals have dissipated over the years? Somebody call a scientist!

This reminds me of the snazzy second screens that were so trendy a few years back, I think it was Vista? A small screen on the outside of the clamshell, a touchscreen trackpad, what else was there? What happened to those things? Probably the same thing that will happen to this thing...

seconded. All of Gawker seems infested with this particular nonsense lately.

Sadly, I bet they'll do a better job of syncing to a laptop than iCloud does.

The american government policies are pushing the users towards cartels. Lose the moronic policies and users can buy local, legit, safe.

Of course the opening DJ at the event was mixing on a MBP. And that Apple Store was way busier than the MS Store

The amount of people who know how to actually craft a joke is falling precipitously faster.

I think this is interesting in that it will likely tie into Siri. The comment thread about Apple's new movie trailers app is all about that integration, but no mention here.

Have to agree the BLam's piece was incredible. I've been a long time Giz fan and remember well that story, but to hear the honest backstory, and the relationship BLam had with Jobs, thank you for that.

what does any of this have to do with this article?

I have been hoping for this to become a reality since the first voice control, and my first taste of Siri. From across the room: "iPhone, skip track" "iPhone, Jack's birthday party is tomorrow at 8" But wolfram alpha makes it even better! What's next: Watson?

you can get a 15" with bumped resolution. I did recently, in fact.

for god's sakes, get some apple rumors so we don't have to deal with this filler junk

I plan on cutting my text plan to minimal w/ iMessages and facebook messenger making up the bulk of my texting. Obviously won't work more many people, but 4 of the 8 people I text with any regularity are on iphones, and the others have largely picked up FB messenger.

Sooo... with an apple tv I can now stream all of this to my TV via the iPad? What're the odds these apps will make their way directly to the apple tv ever?

"The uploader has not made this video available"

yeah, several shows have been like that for YEARS. Like Hulu beta years
