This made very angry because as a general rule appellate judges get pissy real fast if you answer their question with question and I am sure Judge Kavanaugh is no different. You think he would offer Senators the same respect  he would demanded from litigators. 

I cringed so hard watching that exchange yesterday. And while he SHOULD apologize, his apology came after a 15 minute break where someone probably coached him, and made him out to be an upstanding guy. Cross-examined is exactly right. I’m a lawyer. I know what cross-examination looks like. I’ve cross-examined many people myself. She’s being cross-examined like a hostile witness, and she is most definitely on trial.

I cannot stress enough, how much it feels like Dr. Ford is on trial. Each time that the prosecutor asks her a question, it looks like she is being cross examined. Especially when she was asked about the attack contributing to PTSD.

I wasn’t expecting this but I am literally shaking sitting here listening to it. It’s both nerve wracking and infuriating to watch.

I can’t even watch it - just reading the live blogs/updates is enough to have me a teary, quivering mess at my desk. I want so much to be righteously angry instead, but I can’t manage it today. I am in awe of Dr. Blasey Ford’s bravery.
