The reason you couldn’t definitively prove it, is because you made a small math error.”

I think it’s pretty OBVIOUS that I’m NOT.

U ok girl?

All responses to anything she says, ever, should begin with “Listen, bitch...”

Take a look at the number of likes in that tweet and you’ve got 31.5 k reasons to get out and vote in six weeks.

Bitch.... Michelle O accomplished more in her life BEFORE she became first lady than you and your whole tornado bait trailer trash family have ever even read about. Double Ivy League Graduate. Lawyer. Hospital Administrator. Mother. Go getter. Accomplisher of many things, not the least of which is to be married to a

As an additional piece of data, might I just ask Hedi Slimane to sing us a song? You’re the Slenderman! Sing us a song tonight, for we’re all in the mood for a melody and you’ve got us feeling alright.

THIS PROVES EVERYTHING.

You win today.

Agreed— I liken the present day weight watchers to a friend who stocks your kitchen with good stuff (freestyle etc) but doesn’t take your wine or chocolate and says “here you go, good luck.” What you make out of it is up to you. The main reason I stopped going to the meetings (although they nicely let me use their

The reason you couldn’t definitively prove it, is because you made a small math error. I have a masters in numerology so I think I can fix this (I don’t want to share the school name because I don’t want to dox myself but it rhymes with bog farts). Anyway, 105 minus 99 is actually 6 and when you subtract 99 from 105

Hedi Slimane knows his left side well.

For some people, hell for a lot of people, not being fat is unrealistic. I have a friend who is 220lbs and runs several half marathons a year. Her health indicators are phenomenal.

Yes, agreed. The reality is that underneath all of this is capitalism. As long as people buy in to diet pills/waist trainers/weight loss programs, companies will be there to provide them. And then companies reinforce those unrealistic standards, so people buy more, etc.

Ah, yeah I hadn’t thought about that. It would be nice if the pivot towards wellness was genuine as it would lead to healthier people even if weight loss isn’t achieved. I’m one of those people who have to work really hard to lose weight and I can see how people would be disappointed in a system that made wellness

Weight is not a very good measure of general health; at least, not as much as it is often supposed to be. A monofocus on weight just creates as many issues as it may solve.

This will sound trollish in what I’m about to say, but body positivity can only get me (ME—I’m not speaking for anyone else) so far. I was okay with having to get an extender belt for a flight, super fine that I couldn’t go on roller coasters with my kids, and I love that most of my clothes are from online shopping.

I mostly agree with you on this. What I would want WW to embrace is applying more quantitative definitions of wellness. Encourage people to get check-ups and educate them about what their results mean. Switch the focus from weight loss to weight loss as one piece of getting to a healthy body and mind.

My brain translates it into another form of concern trolling. Instead of “I’m just worried about your weight” assholes get to say “I’m just worried about your health.”
