My Grandpa is almost 90 (and still walking and getting about OK!), but he says you ‘start feeling it’ in your 60s. Then it really hits you in the early 70s.

I just assume with the job market/economy it’d be unlikely a child would be in your same area because of work and job opportunities or education. And working 50-60 hours a week wouldn’t leave much time for elder care.

My wedding ring is a much humbler, smaller version of this! It’s blue sapphire/white sapphire (not diamonds). I like it, though, but didn’t pick it because of Princess Kate. I do think I was influenced by Diana’s ring. But the smaller version doesn’t look as ‘mumsy’ as people say this looks.

That’s too bad it didn’t lower your heart rate. The blood pressure is dangerous. I’m on a medication to ‘up’ mine while on Beta Blockers. It’s such a frustrating illness because it’s so hard to manage.

I’m another POT-SY. I have to take a beta blocker immediately in the morning - but I feel very fortunate to have been diagnosed fairly quickly by a great Doctor or I wouldn’t be as functioning as I am now. I can see how people are written off, but it’s a very real thing.

I have POTS! I finally am on a Beta Blocker that helps, but boy, isn’t it a ball of fun? A horror story in and of itself.

Raccoons! OMG! I feel for you but that’s a pretty randomly amazing that you’ve seen them on your bed. But sleep paralysis sucks. I’ve had it. And often it involves my much-missed but long dead grandmother.

My grandparents made us ‘Macaroni and Cheese lunchmeat’ sandwiches as teens and we loved it. It was a lunchmeat loaf with Macaroni and Cheese in it. I think I’d secretly hide and eat one now if I could.
