This with a dual clutch transmission would be fantastic. because they can up-shift and downshift so quickly you’d never be able to confuse it. Plus the option to put it in an auto mode would be fantastic. I like h-pattern shifters. 1: because i don’t forget what gear I’m in like with flappy paddle gearboxes and 2:

The bottom of a lake?

Too bad that ECU tune isn’t available by itself, would be awfully fun in a lowered 2wd ranger.

It’s a little high for a hot-air car, but the price of GN’s, T-types, Monte SS’s and Hurst Olds are going through the roof lately.

Winter is for upgrades, wrenching, indoor carting, iRacing etc.

I hope the appeals court tells GM to shove it.

However Detroit does have a 15 mile long bumper-bumper rolling car show every summer that is the world’s largest automotive event. It looks like this the whole third week of August.

LA is terrible for a lot reasons, but this is about cars. I’d rather live in Texas than in the neo-liberal hellhole that is California. (And I’m a leftist)

I think the big difference is that people in LA pay people to work on their cars, people in the Midwest do it themselves.

That’s exactly my point excluding 45 model years of cars, means it can’t be Number 1.

Sorry any place that has emissions testing and inspection is automatically exempt from from the top spot. The CHP is a militant force which has declared war on the auto enthusiasts. The rust free cars are nice, but when you cant improve them without getting your car impounded, what’s the point?

Detroit cannot be beat. Sorry.

I had it on a rental VW manual Passat Diesel Wagon when I was in Germany, I didn’t mind it.

I hope everything is OK at DeBoTech. They’re GM’s biggest CF supplier on the Corvette.

Only engineers at FCA make less than their line worker counterparts because they are terrible engineers hired by contract houses.

Now playing

No. The Best Engine Noise is cross plane large displacement V8

GM is run by people with no concept of class, style, work ethic, or determination.

Would it blow your mind to learn that some cars had carburetors controlled by an ECU?

When they stop building cars I want to drive and live with daily.
