The Quad 4 used hydraulic engine mounts too. They just weren’t... any good.

The most troublesome were the SOHC based Quad 4's called the Quad-OHC. The L40 was hands down one of the worst engines GM ever produced.

The Quad 4 actually helped move engine mount technology a long way as well.
