Websites kind of do this for everyone with voiced preferences now, I think. I see it a lot on Halsey articles, just off the top of my head. I will admit it’s easier for me to remember the pronouns of celebrities I follow over the ones I have no associations with, like Ezra. A gentle reminder for the casual reader.

Because if they didn’t people would feign confusion over who “they” are. It’s fairly common to see it in articles talking about non-binary people.
