I hear you. My husband is a vet with a disability rating and he’s in college on the GI Bill. It’s the most convoluted shit show I’ve ever seen. He gets checks and bills at the same time. My brother’s a vet as well and has been waiting 2 years for a final decision on his disability rating. Oy.

I’m lower middle class and chose Long Vacation because I work in the seasonal service industry and my odds of getting more than a 10 cent raise, even if I’m given a good evaluation and having worked for my company for 3 years, is slim. So give me three months to decompress and do whatever.
