that forum post is unbelievably biased, why even bother linking it? did you write it?

please don't let these armchair legal experts silence you now or in the future. we are not in court, you can use whatever words you'd like about your own experience.

we also will in a world where victims' lives are ruined, reputations ruined, further victimization occurs, accusations go unprosecuted, and victims have few resources for their own recovery. why are you only focused on one side of a system that often fails both parties?

well, look up the details of the case. and the definition of what he was found guilty of. dude is a colloquial-rapist.

"see, i was just too big for her" ~ every cheated-on dude from this day forth.

no, stores do it all the time, prior to/without pursuing a conviction. they might be sued by those people, true, but they aren't very often. and private individuals, such as store owners and internet commenters, can say whatever they like, and if they are sued, so be it.

uhm, stores post photos of shoplifters with the word "thief" under them all the time.

every article i've ever read about women's shelters calls for donations of consumables like formula and baby food. if Similac can spam me with formula, they better be donating tons and tons of the stuff themselves. but i bet they don't. i'm a cynic.

i received formula in the mail. it was disturbing and unwelcome, as i am not and have not been pregnant. i had to donate it to a women's shelter (which was actually a HUGE pain in the ass). all i can think is that it was because i bought a baby gift for christmas, but who doesn't buy babies gifts for christmas?

i mean... she's not "just as" gross as him. he is a 1,000 and she is a 50 on a gross scale.

sleepwalking stories are the BEST.

Yup! $5 tip is better than rolling a suitcase through the Moma, right?

I feel Jezebel should do some investigative reporting in this arena, before Buzzfeed gets to it.

I LOVE little-kid gross stories! Share!

small hotels, small towns, and some foreign places, it's not a good idea. but big city downtown hotels? they won't stop anyone. giant midtown hotels in manhattan? they couldn't possibly keep track of everyone using them and they must clean them every 6 hours.

i love gin and tonic. i consider it a gentleman's drink. despite many noble attempts, i cannot get into whiskey. especially not the manliest, straightest of whiskeys. i am too refined? that's what i tell myself.

but there are people quoting statistics about violent women, and not any responder, not one, is specifying, "not i, a woman" nor "not all women," and yet many respondents are saying "not all men" or "not i, a man" correct?

yes, as the original post (erin's), there are NOT enough private spaces open to the public. i have been a tourist in places where i wish i could seal myself up the whole trip but at least there were options. the starbucks nearest my office has THE WORST bathroom. the line for the bathroom is often longer than the line

what kind of women? violent women? i have seen a HUNDRED such discussions and never ONCE had the urge or seen any woman derail a conversation with a "not all women, not me" comment, but it seems to be the overwhelming majority of male responses in a reverse conversation.

yeah, we had a shower shitter in my dorm (girls' only), but only for the first semester. i like to think she didn't drop out, but rather acquired in that time the life skills necessary to use a toilet properly.
