"How to stop a monster that was obviously going to murder everything it saw from day one? Good dinosaurs, trained by Chris Pratt's characters, including a regular T.rex and velociraptor."

Ug, all the grotesque things the meat is heir to. Makes me wish I was in something more antiseptic:

I think a lot of political discussions in social groups involve a selection bias and a nonresponse bias. We select for friends with common political viewpoints, and anyone whose views are way outside the norm probably won't speak up during discussions. If you're in a business that has a corporate mindset, that bias

See also how in 2012, the GOP and conservative media deluded themselves a Romney landslide was coming, brushing aside other polls as "skewed math" despite the fact that so much of their "polling" was just supposition (like taking for granted the black/youth vote would be lower in 2008, minorities not as cheering Obama

I just hope it's better than that horrendous Photoshopping job.

I can't believe they didn't end it with "EXECUTIVE PRODUCER DIRE WOLF"

Don't shut the fuck up.

Living off of the universal basic income that we will implement in response to the massive automation of white collar work and as a moral response to the efficiency and productive power of our new technologies, thereby freeing human beings to work far less and enjoy themselves more, and in so doing contribute to our

"Brand new boy's names included Rydder, Jceion, Hatch, Tuf, Lloyal, Xzaiden, Charger, Kyndle, Power, Warrior, Kaptain, Subaru, and Vice." Fuck all of those parents.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm very happy you feel better and I'm glad you're finding what works for you. I starred your post and fully support you in your journey toward health.

Okay、I'll bite. How did they ruin Venom?

Hellboy's Rasuputin: from shadowy figure with an ambiguous identity (until he chooses to reveal it) to a goofy action villain who random people can identify from sight. Boo! (Sorry Guillermo...)

Fair enough. But I feel like you overlooked my observation that many of those classic characters and stories that are in the public domain are not there because a law was written scheduling for them to become so, but because they remained relevant to future generations loooooooooong after being supplanted by newer

Define "useful."

Re-registration is not indefinite (though copyright law in the US is kind of a hot mess right now, generally). And there absolutely IS corporate manipulation of the limits of re-registration. It is a famous "coincidence" that every time the current limit starts to creep up for Mickey Mouse, a bill passes Congress

Do we, though? Nothing seems to be changing, so I'd argue we don't.

I never felt more or less connected to a character because they resembled myself or not. A black game character doesn't create a bond with me, especially if his personality is way different and unsympathetic. One game character I resonate with is Cammy (SF), a white British girl. Conversely, I feel nothing for black

You apparently have no idea what you are talking about, so let me help. Tape drives are used for long term data storage and backups. They have never gone away. This is not for the average consumer and definitely lost on you.

so they went back to the drawing board and came up with an ending that undermines the entire message of the film but includes a big explosion.

I'd say the twists to the story, the Terminator as protector, and the decision to change history, were enough to give it something new. It's also fits one of my personal criteria for a great sequel - it builds on the original. It's a better film for having The Terminator come before it.
