The worst was seeing like a Saturn or a Ford Taurus with DOHC V6 24V badging....like bro you got bigger issues....like driving a Saturn or a Taurus. Rubbish.

It’s an inline 6, just built by Germany. Aka failure as I guarentee it won’t be as reliable as a Toyota built motor.

My point is 300 HP or barely over is almost a moot point. Look at the STI. It’s had 305 HP for like 15 years now. Even V6 Camry’s have about the same amount. Yes I know it’s meant to be tuned and modified, but 300 HP just ain’t what it was 15-20 years ago.

I literally wish cops were hidden in plain view in the DC Metro area. Too many idiotic drivers.

My point was the Supra’s 300+ HP is no longer some crazy hard to reach car. Even a pedestrian V6 Camry nearly matches it, naturally aspirated.

But they were always compared. Go watch an episode of BMI and tell me the NSX, Supra and Skyline were never compared to together. Yes I know the new Supra is supposed to be a “GT” car, but fuck’s sake.

Toyota: I give you the brand new Supra. It has 335 hp and 322 ft lb of torque.

You shut your whore mouth! My Outback 3.0R sounds like a Porsche 911!

Nice car....super crack pipe price wtf. EG33 is literally a 100 dollar junkyard motor.

Screaming for an LS1/T56 swap.

Wow I would have thought the 4Runner hasn’t really gotten any better fuel economy than the 4th gen as it has been unchanged minus the VVTI added later in the model line. Still the 1GR-FE and the 5 Aisin 5 speed automatic.

Yeah that’s what I’m scared about. I want a 4th gen 4Runner with the 3rd row and the 1GR-FE. But after 1 year of ownership with my 3.0R, 16 mpg combined 3 row SUV with 4WD doesn’t seem so bad!

Oh yeah. When you aren’t on boost....LGT is just a 2.5 H4 with DOHC? Yeah we were looking at a 4th gen 4Runner or the new Subaru Ascent.

Yuuuuuuuuup. 93 octane at Costco. My fiance drives this now and thank god she only has a 8 mile drive to work. 1 full tank lasts like 2 weeks and its like ~37-40 to fully fill it at Costco.

Seemed to have a clean bill of health. The EPA says its supposed to get like 18 city so I assume 15 isn’t far off? I also have a foot of lead.

Wait 15 mpg combined is ghastly? My 2005 Subaru Outback 3.0R with W rated UHP all season tires gets 15.3 mpg.

So it’s a discount A5...that looks like a Passat but is more expensive than a Passat but is trying to revive that CC look....hrmmmm.

Actually it’s not hard to spin a FWD. I’ve driven many V6 Accords with the 6 speed manual.

Except the Accord transmission options don’t have a limited slip differential and the Type R’s does so it can actually put down power.

Ugh barf.
