Better than all those Civics with lambo doors..
Better than all those Civics with lambo doors..
Yeah I think that makes no sense, since there is already an Impreza hatchback already out and highly successful. I heard the hatchback/wagon option was scrapped because aerodynamics were worse than the sedan, but Subaru of America should have known 50% of WRX/STI sales was the hatchback. I know Subaru definitely wants…
I mean that would be ideal, but I think the Consumer Reports survey found only 15% of AWD/4WD cars driven more than 6 snow days a year were equipped with snow tires.
Your own project car. Nothing like spending back breaking hours, paying a shop out the arse for custom fabbing and tuning, just to have your knuckleheaded friend to wreck it.
Yeah the EJ205 def isn’t bad at all, just do the timing belt maintenance and don’t be a moron. I was looking at a 4EAT model over the 5MT (syncho issues with the 5 MT?).
Sure I get it. But I always chuckle when people say I got AWD, and I see them in a ditch 3 miles down the road. Suckers.
I don’t doubt it, I just can’t get over how bad the new WRX/STI look. And don’t kid me Subaru that the WRX is notoff the Impreza line, it looks EXACTLY the same with MINOR fascia changes. If Subaru makes the WRX into a hatchback again, I’ll consider it.
Eh just cause a car has “AWD” doesn’t mean its snowproof (unless it’s a Subaru). You’d be better off with winter tires over optional all wheel drive.
Why would you need AWD in a Mini Cooper? I don’t really see too many advantages, the JCW Mini Cooper already has an electronic LSD? And 40k for a new Mini Cooper is ridiculous.
Eh I feel when mods endanger the public (like tire stretching, ridiculous levels of camber) then it becomes an issue. Want to put chrome 24’s on your Civic, a park bench on your trunk, HKS stickers, cold air intake, go ahead.
I didn’t mean new, I was looking at an 03-04 blobeye.
I mean I think the XV is enough for the beltway traffic. Sure are there times I wish it had more power, but it does get me like 25 mpg city and 32+ on the highway.
Yeah I liked the blend of power, fun, practicality. I already have a Subaru XV Crosstrek as a daily, but that will probably go to my fiance.
The 4EAT? Eh it’s gonna be mostly a DD. Plus the 4EAT has VTD and is vastly superior to the 5MT in terms of it’s actual AWD capabilities.
Yeah but you probably aren’t considering a WRX wagon with the 4EAT. :o
Hey I’m a prospective WRX wagon buyer...I don’t really have any intentions of tuning it, just reliability upgrades probably.
This isn’t bad looking, I can’t believe my XV Crosstrek is already almost 2 years old.
3rd Gear: A Bigger Subaru SUV At Last
Good god and I thought the new Continental concept was a luxobarge...
Imagine traction control in that car, it would just be like nope.avi
