Haha nice setup, I sold my old coworker an ancient ASUS 900HA netbook for GPS usage for his car. Why he gave me 100 bucks for a crappy used netbook and didn’t get a Garmin or a used iPod Touch always boggled my mind.

The man either deserves an award or a trip to the insane asylum!
:( such a nice car until I saw rust. WHY DO ALL OLD SUBARUS RUST GOD. I’ve been looking around for a Impreza Outback Sport GF8 for a cheapo rally car.
Well it’s ironic, cause I bought my Subaru February 2014 when it was snowing outside. The Subaru dealership was PACKED (FitzMall). For me, reliability is key because I need to get to work. I also have a fun car (‘96 Nissan 240SX) so my weekends aren’t completely boring.
I think the Impreza hatchback and XV Crosstrek look pretty good, the Impreza sedan is pretty gross looking (WRX isn’t a whole lot better). I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the new Legacy sedan (or the previous 2010-2014 generation either). The Forester looks okay, it’s just lost in a sea of every growing compact…
Some people honestly could give 2 shits about a car, they just need it from point A to B. Subaru is becoming popular because it fits alot of household needs, though they are STILL missing out on the 3rd row crossover and they killed the noncompetitive Tribeca.
3rd Gear: Speaking Of Profits, Subaru’s Doing Well
If Hyundai and Kia truly brought something game breaking to the table, then I feel they would have a good shot at getting a niche in the luxury car segment. Except they have to face a massive struggle from the Europeans and the Japanese. Lexus broke the mold by having ultra reliable luxury cars back in a period when…
Maybe Range Rover periodically sends a “fail” signal remotely to a part so it breaks down and it is on your column again!
Death of diesel in America?
That’s a fair point, though honestly I’d just get a CTS over a CT6....they are priced too similarly. It’s bizzare Cadillac is pricing a flagship close to the CTS....unless they have plans to early retire the CTS.
Does GM really think they can steal away 7 series/S class/Audi _8 cars? Or even 5 series sales?
The new Mitsubishi Mirage? Seriously why is a 3rd world country car sold in America?
I wasn’t so lucky growing up!
Neutral: Know anyone that bought Ferrari stock yet?
Cause a 2 seater 911 is the most practical daily driver? Sure the Impreza is an economy car, and I’ve been in many nearly 10 year old STI/WRX’s and they were not rattly. Sure they were a little loud, and some of the plastics were old, but they drove winters like a beast, unlike any RWD Porsche.
It’s great and all you can get a Porsche for uber cheap, but everytime I go to SCCA or track day, a lightly modded WRX is faster than all those 911s and Caymans and certainly alot cheaper. Honestly you can pick up a good condition blob eye WRX for like 6-8k, pour 2k into reliability upgrades, 3-5k in…
Doug I am still awaiting the Prius vs Hummer fuel economy test!
