I am vegan - several of my close friends have also had eating disorders. Not just white women either. This was before veganism was really a big thing, so they hid it behind good old-fashioned dieting. This comes back to my original point: articles which are headlined “this person stopped being vegan and now they’re

Yeah, especially if she was trying to lose weight. Could also have been B12 deficiency.

Yes, I love going to see a film on my own! It’s my perfect Sunday afternoon treat.

I can’t get onto that particular article as I’m at work and our server blocks it, but I saw elsewhere that Anne Hathaway took up veganism to lose weight for a role - which suggests to me that her brain rebooted when she ate some fish because she probably just wasn’t eating enough before. Whenever I see these “I

I know someone who estimates she had sex with about 250 men in a single year once, so it’s entirely possible. She would fuck multiple guys on the same day sometimes.

This is so good! Well done Azka! I would love to listen to more of her stories.

I don’t always love Autostraddle, but I do appreciate the fact they’re still going, especially since AfterEllen dropped off a cliff.

And of course, she may have had a threesome with James Dean and Paul Newman. I’m not as convinced as some people that it actually happened, but I want to believe it did so badly because hot damn.

I went to the same uni as Lily Cole, and I never got over how she looked in real life. She looks like a bug-alien’s approximation of a woman. I mean, she is obviously very beautiful, but deeply unsettling to see in the flesh.

Nah, Prince Andrew is gay.

Quick correction: it was a French magazine that published the topless photos, I don’t think they were published anywhere in the UK (though of course the fact they existed and the subsequent court case were heavily publicised).

He might be the one.

Actually it’s vulva

Indeed.... one dickhead in three persons....... the divine mystery..........

Much as I’m sure that kind of money and fame isn’t healthy for a teenager, I’m not sure it points to ‘serious developmental issues’. I remember when I was that age, I knew people who were still into “kids’ stuff” which I wouldn’t have been caught dead wearing/watching/engaging with, like cartoons and dolls and things

We’ve had labia man and Dr Vagina (below) - whomst will fulfil the prophecy and become the third consubstantial person in the trinity of anatomansplainers?

My school was forced to change their uniform policy after parents raised it with the local authority. Boys could wear black trousers and white shirts from anywhere, while girls had to get special school skirts and blouses that were expensive and also really terrible quality. It sort of fell apart when they said girls

I know I’m coming way too late to this debate for anyone to see this comment, but as a teenager there were two things I was led to believe were babyish and embarrassing: hooking your bra in the front, and wearing sanitary pads after your first couple of periods rather than ‘graduating’ to tampons. Spent a lot of time

I was waiting for someone to point out that many (I would say most?) of us who hook it in the front do it round the waist rather than directly under the boobs as in the diagram.
