No matter who endorses it, Zumba is and always will be nerdy. The thing I love about Zumba is that everyone looks silly doing it. Everyone. The instructor, the super-buff gym bunnies up the front of my class in their tank tops - no one looks good or elegant or powerful. And that’s what makes it fun!

I think Mrs Maisel just about gets away with the slightly flat comedy by virtue of its setting - it’s far enough in the past that it largely comes across as dated and “daring for the time”. But it is hard to write stand up that’s both funny and serves the plot of a TV show.

Fair enough, I haven't read the book so can't speak to that.

Suicide isn’t necessarily the result of long-standing depression - it can be an impulsive act. I think it’s fair to say that he was an impulsive person, so that may be how it happened. I think it’s really important to understand that suicide isn’t necessarily the outcome of a singular path (depression leading to a

A friend of mine used to work backstage at a comedy club, and a well-established (not famous) comedian groped her during a show. She took it to her boss who was initially reluctant to do anything until she did the whole "would you think that was OK if we were working in an office" thing. And mentioned that she could

Eeesh, the fact that your aunt had told your family but not anyone else makes me think we need to have a conversation with my gran. She likes to talk about what she’d do if she won the lottery as an indirect way of talking about her will, and she’s told us that if she won the lottery, she’d give more money to my

Thank you so much for this.

She auditioned for Les Mis and that was directed by Tom Hooper, so I suppose the answer to your question is... Tom Hooper.

My parents were goths who met at a Halloween ball in Leeds around 1980/81. I didn’t realise until recently what a good meet cute that is and also that it means I have POWERFUL GOTH BLOOD running through my veins.

Yeah she’s been:

A movie which he stars in which was filmed before all this came out, Billionaire Boys Club, is being released soon, though looks like it’s going straight to VOD. So as far as I I know he hasn’t got any new work, but stuff he's already done may continue to trickle out.

Often refused on the grounds that you become a Member/Commander/Dame/Knight of the British Empire, and if you object to the glorification of the British Empire, that’s pretty strong grounds to reject it. In the unlikely event I was ever offered one, I’d refuse it.

Her family’s Italian, so it’s not a huge jump from there to Latinx in terms of looks.

Most of the people I know with double-barrelled names tend to prefer one when e.g. there’s not a lot of space on a form, and that’s the one they say they’re most likely to pass onto their kids. Interestingly, I know a couple of families like this where there are two children, and in both of them the kids have split

The Eurovision village was such a mess! We left after my friend saw a woman throw a cup of piss over someone who jumped the (hour-long) queue for the toilets. It was absolutely wild.

Basically there’s not really a difference, it’s just about preference. I’ve always used bi, meaning ‘attracted to same and other genders’ which includes everyone, but recently I have started using pansexual. For me personally - and this in no way applies to anyone else - I stuck to bi as ‘same and other’ because I

Yes exactly! I’ve been baffled with all this gossip about Meghan’s so-called machinations when Kate was pretty transparent about muscling her way into the royal family.
