Half of my company’s revenue comes from automotive ($5b) so yeah, I’m concerned when there’s an interruption in manufacturing. Other than that, I have never considered a GM product as their reputation for quality and flat out ugly vehicles is remarkably consistent.

The union should really be fighting for better looking Chevys.

I can’t imagine anyone other than someone directly involved with the strike or their family members making a decision not to buy a GM vehicle specifically because of it.

I have, too. Had a few with gray interiors. Hated them. Black only.

I just like grayscale colors. Every car looks better in grayscale. Ford’s Magnetic Gray is my favorite. Even Ferrari looks better in gray.

Say Q followed by a two digit number divisible by 10 and you probably just named one of their models.

Preach that all you want - in practice it never happens.

I’ve had similar thoughts, observing what I do when I pull in and out of my local gas station/convenience store. If I see someone get into their car, I know they’re leaving; I look for brake lights and reverse lights when going past a line of parked cars; sometimes I make eye contact with someone driving toward me; I

The thing I keep coming back to is that, even though highway/freeway driving is done at a much higher rate of speed, maneuvering through a parking lot requires a lot more from a driver in terms of potential for unexpected hazards.

And the buyer in 92 spent $895 for the exquisite wood dash trim... along with $1595 for italian fittipaldi wheels, $1190 for gold emblems/door handles, and $79 for pinstripe.

Way more than 127 were still on the road.  127 is the number that made it home.
