By the way, this asshole you quote so well probably lives in Bumblefuck, Wyoming about 159 miles from the nearest town and bitches about the USPS (even though fair rates for him should be 20 times higher), bitches about communist Amtrak (even though Amtrak makes a lot of money in the NE corridor and then gives away

Pet peeve.

Why are you comparing a $150k car to a $70k car and complaining about its price, when (as you mention) the base Model S is a direct competitor in terms of price.

With numbers like that, I might be inclined to have a healthy dose of skepticism about this whole thing, except you link the Lucid Air article right in the middle of this one.

Save the price of the ticket (and emissions) and buy a copy of MS Flight Simulator.

I agree. That sentence sort of stopped me in my tracks. I read it twice, and then thought to myself “Oh nice, so this writer is an A-hole. Nice to know.” and continued reading. I sure hope Erik sees what you’ve said here and gives it a thought or two.

Honestly, fuck you.

All of these are dead wrong - the dude’s completely upending his life and moving to a very different place. So he has no idea what his needs will be. He might find that he’ll take up surfing, or mountain biking, or motocross. He might decide that he wants to spend lots of time in the desert camping and gazing at the

That not-a-grille treatment is one of the main reasons why I wouldn’t have a Kia Niro EV. I can’t be having a freakin’ three-foot-wide blanking plate across the front of my car. Try harder automakers, make it look like it was supposed to be that way.

Neutral: Actually, I’d contend just the opposite.

Is it me, or the do the steelies look really good on it? They go with the whole retro thing.

I am referring to the proposal in this post that Ford stop building police cars. That is, frankly, idiotic.

how will that make them more or less racist?

I mean it’s clear to anyone with an ounce of gray matter that the police is essential to any society, and police will need cars to do their jobs. There should be no controversy at this.

I try not to nit-pick, but what exactly is a diversity “ritual?”

Now playing

Dead exactly 1 day after Doug posted his review of the most expensive Continental ever? Coincidence? We should get alex jones on this one...

The answer: both.

I so strongly dislike the “Calvin pissing on *blank*” stickers; I find it fundamentally incongruous with Calvin the character as written by Bill Watterson. Calvin was mischievous and imaginative; not vindictive and destructive, and if he ever was (like against Suzie, kinda) it became a theatrical production of

Thank you for violating the letter of Bill Watterson’s copyright and cheapening the spirit of his marvelous comic strip. Such a proud moment to be a Jalop.

Yeah, it’s a bit of a weird article because as you say, they always change their prices. I think their mantra is that they don’t haggle with each individual customer over price. Not that the price never, ever changes.
