This comment is disgusting.

It takes longer then 5 minutes to fill up, use the restroom and eat.

This is a great effort, assuming it’s still 2015. I haven’t looked outside yet this morning.

I have no desire to cut into live wire, even if it is only 120V...

I charge with a 60 amp 220v daily. That’s what it’s designed to handle. It just makes it charge faster. Though if they were using a NEMA 5-15 in a normal 15 or 20 amp socket, you wouldn’t be able to plug it into your 220v NEMA 6-x outlet unless you also had the appropriate adapter, and in quick case, it would only

“an immediate tie the other end into my 2-phase 220 outlet, grab a beer and watch the fun.”

Tesla’s can use these stations though, but not the other way around. So the network for Tesla EVs will always be larger. Most of these stations also do not charge at the speeds Superchargers are capable of.

This 2013 model is pre autopilot and even if it had it it would only be hardware 1 and it wouldn’t have all the cameras. So this car can’t be upgraded.

I prefer to think that if I had the resources to buy/maintain a Veyron that I wouldn’t be so put out by a minor accident that I’d want to put a 61 year-old woman in fear of imminent physical harm.

sounds like good news to me, I like the minimalist design of the model 3 and if Tesla actually hits Autonomy level 4/5 then it will be much better for it.

Frumpy and uninteresting as compared to a Bolt of Leaf? You might be alone on that; I don’t know if there are cars out there that do frumpy better than the Bolt.

I really don’t understand the Tesla hate. American car company, decent looking cars, fantastic performance... Innovative, legitimate competitor to the Germans. I see it as the modern-day Cadillac. Personally never driven one, but I like that they exist. For all the decades of bitching about how much American car suck

$2.2 million for an SUV without whale penis leather upholstery?  No f’in way, bro!

I hate hate HATE black plastic trim. Yes it looks decent for the first few years. But beyond that, it begins to look like crap. Every brand. Crap. Why not just paint the dang thing all the way? All will eventually oxidize and turn grey.

No it doesnt,

those mpg numbers are pretty poor too. isnt the cvt supposed to improve mileage? my 97 outback with n/a 2.5 hit the same numbers

64 yr old was British, that was his hard Brexit.

Uhhh, all jokes aside this is the correct take.

So... no actual mechanical changes, then?

Why dont more manufacturers make cars like this? And why dont the consumers respond to cars like this?
