Agreed - the optics on this were not considered AT ALL. A mistake that’s likely going to cost them a big percentage of the potential revenue from other donors they were hoping the athletics improvements would generate.

Yeah, I get that athletics has not been a direct revenue-generator at UNH. But athletic events attract alumni, who are a huge pool of potential donors. (Some of them are very wealthy.
