I think it's tacky but I can forgive a single picture. It's when someone posts a photo album with 16 different angles of the ring that makes me want to smash my screen.

It's funny, I too also always felt bad for her. I have never seen anything she is in, but it never occurred to me that she might have talent. I figured she simply exists in movies to be looked at.

same. I've never seen it happen. I once made eyes with a guy (is that the saying?) in a coffee shop but neither of us spoke to each other bc he was in med school and studying and I was in graduate school studying. Ahh, missed opportunity. He's probably a doctor now. :)

oh god no. there's a woman who drops her kids off at school the same time i do most days and she almost ALWAYS is wearing gaucho pants and boots and I just CANNOT help myself from thinking every day "doesn't she know how horrible she looks?" And she has a perfectly fine looking conventional body...the style just sucks!

There's a little cog wheel settings symbol at the bottom of the chat area where you can turn it off and on. I guess it's not "permanent" but I turned it off long ago and leave it off. HTH

My kids so want an Elf on the Shelf and I refuse. I tried as hard as I could without saying the words "it's not real" to imply that it was not real, because I didn't want them to ruin their classmate's joy.

i'm with you. it actually made me giggle.

I can't speak to that as I grew up in a middle class family and I remain basically middle class. To me, the deals aren't worth it. A lot of times the electronics are lower-end and not as quality, which is how they deeply discount them. Not to mention the stores will only have like 3 of them. I couldn't care less about…
