I think Gorilla Biscuits gets the "poppy" tag because Civ had kind of a sing-songy hardcore voice, and the subject matter was always a bit lighter than that of their NYHC contemporaries, but there really wasn't much in the way of vocal melodies or hooks that would really classify them in that way.

Firestorm is on Spotify, that's really the only one that somewhat holds up. IMO, of course.
