A fair question.
A fair question.
Also I forgot to actually disagree lol.
please do not disagree with me
Well done! I’ve looked at the PCCM upgrade and found it a little daunting, but it’s good to know it’s easy enough to do oneself. Also, you’re so right about how easy it is to disassemble the dash and get in there to do this sort of work.
For sure! It may even be as simple as weight distribution, gear ratios, and tyres, but I haven’t done any research on those specs for each because I don’t want to.
And yet, if you look at the power to weight ratio of the third- v fifth-gen Civics, you only wind up with ~2.5% increase. This small advantage for Gen Five could easily be wiped out by a poor start.
2001 996.1 C2, coincidentally ALSO for less than a new Civic Si. Actually, for less than ANY new Civic.
Idk, I traded in a WRX for a 911 because I always wanted the latter. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
I mean, that’s every used car. Maybe they just upgraded to something fancier or faster?
“Easy does it, buddy. Rapid changes in direction and speed are not, in fact, the sign of a racing driver. You want it to be easy and smooth. Learn your driving line, and practice. You want people to want to ride with you.”
Auto start/stop in the Jag I drove was pretty noticeable, but pushing in the clutch did at least turn the engine back on, so it wasn’t much of a pain to deal with.
I figured out the problem; they’re missing the following lines of code
I love dealing with the overlong daily-driven trucks clogging up the parking ramps in my building’s parking structure so they become one lane each way. Then again, I also nearly got run over this morning by a clueless Range Rover driver who didn’t know how big their car is going around the corners.
Zardoz
I recently moved to the 2-door life for my daily driving and it’s such a delight being in a small, quick car; it does, however, demand more attention to the drivers around you. Invest in loud horns.
My thoughts, exactly. Why wouldn’t I want to be in a place with perpetually-lovely temperatures, excellent food choice, and a local car market that actually wants the product I’m working on?

It’ll always be National or DCA.
Good to know. I’ll float it with my partner and see if they’d be willing to let me do some tinkering.
It’d be amazing if Android/Apple whatever were even options on the 2017 Forester. Ugh.
