I have a little secret you may not know: Adolf Hitler died 80 years ago, and Ferdinand Porsche died 74 years ago. Musk is very much still alive and his current actions are very much enabled by the material support people have given him in the purchase of his cars.

Driver’s side is honestly the worst side for a charging port, so they’re both wrong. It should be on the passenger side. In a future with more street-side charging (like the setups on telephone poles that this very ‘periodical’ wrote about) it makes more sense to plug in on the safe, non-traffic side. Plus, you don’t

I can almost guarantee you’ve used mylar, in-ear thermometers, GPS, and Siri. You’re literally using the descendant of ARPANET right now. Some of it’s really banal.

Sadly it rejects anything without the ‘HK’ stamp; best buy that 416 before the gun rack!

“Getting a loan at 8.5% on a brand-new, three-row, body-on-frame SUV that gets 12 mpg everywhere it goes just so you can be the only person in it during your daily 45-minute commute is a much better idea financially then buying a luxury grand tourer that costs less than a new Civic.”

It was so beautifully rude! Thanks, Daniel.

They really missed out by not making one more preset function: M3.

2001 Porsche 911.

I was rejetting my beemer’s carbs, which, without a dyno, can be a slow process (especially because these are not the stock carbs and the intake/exhaust are also not stock, so it’s not like there’s a recipe). I’m at the point where I believe the main and pilot jets are correct, but am still working on atomiser/needle

I would honestly prefer an electric C63 AMG (though really what’s there for AMG to ‘tune’) to a four-pot.

Like this one?

Yiiiiikes

Not content to simply poison the online world, they also have to destroy the offline.

Close second: “City or highway mile?

Woof, not even 10k miles. What a bummer. The Komfort was MADE to rack up the miles!

Got it in one. No notes.

“Let me spend 50k to buy and insure a car that I will never drive and will have to keep pristine for it to *checks notes* still decrease in value.”

Bingo. This is how you beat range anxiety.

Owen got it right. Insecure means that whilst there is security, the security of the system isn’t adequate. Unsecured means that there has been no attempt at securing.

Insecure is an acceptable way (and was preferred last I checked) to say that security is lacking.
