That’s the problem with “normal” people, they can’t see past their nose and only think about the little bubble they live in. We live in a society, like it or not.

I work in the music industry and with a decent amount of festivals, Ive been to quite a few where the artists will stop the show when they see the crowd getting to unsafe levels. It may not be his fault, but he is absolutely responsible

Nope. He prioritized having a wild, high energy show over safety. He skimped on security because of it. He didn’t stop the show even as people were being trampled to death. Absolutely his fault.

Yeah has to be. MSRP was just north of $80K. 

I’ve always heard that the amount requested doesn’t really matter. Ultimately it’s up to the jury to determine liability and the value of that liability. Although maybe the jury inferred ulterior motives based on the high value requested? I dunno.
