Oh, looks like I managed to solve it! Connecting my google account didn’t work, but twitter did. Something weird definitely going on, though, since both other external logins seem to be failing.

It looks like it... I’ll check it from time to time to see if it gets fixed. In the meantime I realised this issue is specific to Safari. In the new computer I’m still logged into my kinja account on Chrome. Not ideal - Chrome is supposed to be my work browser - but eh, could be worse.

Yup. And fixing it will probably break everything else. Oh well, if I lose access to this account I won’t bother creating a new one. I wish I could download the avatar full size though, it’s an original pixel-by-pixel MS Paint artwork by a friend of mine and I don’t have any other copy of it.
